I never had an issue with Blood Vials, early game I barely leveled and just kept buying them. I'm the sort of person who doesn't upgrade weapons or level up until I'm struggling on a level or boss or something, so I had a ton of souls left over and I just brought a ton of Blood Vials. I never ran out after that. You should just buy them? The game is piss easy, no need to level up really.
Bloodborne port probable never, but it's nearly the worst Souls game anyway so whatever.

Everytime you level up or buy gear, left over souls go into blood vials

nope. dark souls 1,3 doesn't punish you for losing to the bosses. you respawn with full estus and re try the boss. farming blood viral is boring and annoying. it add no depth to the game

in NG it's fairly easy, also because of the level design you can miss a lot of areas without realizing it and ending the game abruptly, making it a bit short, and in npc hunter fights you can just spam bullets and cheese them without any skill or strategy.
Don't know why people praise this game so much, its really good, but not better than dark souls or demon souls. Dlc is great tho.
spamming the NPC hunters really only works on the first few (minus Henryk), the rest you need to get a bit more creative with since you'll do so little damage with parrying and they'll just heal it off effortlessly. Or you'll be ganked by multiple at once and unless you use the area to your advantage you won't be able to close in for any viscerals at all.
You used to be able to cheese Crowsteel very easily until they patched out all the exploits for him.
You shouldn't be farming vials. Use most of the boss souls to buy them. You'll still get a level or two after each boss. Also take note that vials are cheaper at the beginning of the game, so it's always better to stock up earlier.
If you're still struggling with bosses, just do practice runs where you don't use vials. After you get the gist, you won't most likely even have to use all 20 of your vials.
