Zelda Twilight Princess
Zelda Four Swords Adventure
Path of Radiance

Paper Mario TTYD
I'm at a very lonely and confusing chapter in my life. I'd jump off a building if I knew I could go back to the Gamecube days.
what the fuck is a gamecube
WHAT
Please be b8
Baten Kaitos and BK Origins
Skies of Arcadia Legends
F-Zero GX
Metroid Prime
Paper Mario 2
Path of Radiance
FFCC
Everything has already been named already except Twilight Princess.
>muh gaymen collections
Rogue Leader
Mario Smash Football
F Zero GX
Wario World

Sunshine
Twin snakes(ignore the matrix stuff its really well done)
Mvp baseball 05(god tier baseball game)
Pikmin
Killer 7
Gotcha Force
Wind Waker
Smash Bros
>playing Skies of Arcadia on Gamecube
Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg is a criminally overlooked little gem.
It's fun but holy shit the ice level is so bad.
I like both versions, user.
The additional content is cool.
It's nice but the controls are a mess.
Is the PC version any good?
mario power tennis
>Baten Kaitos
Mein dreckiger Neger
it was an objectively better version
i own it on both
super mario sunshine
melee
tony hawk underground
rainbow six 3
mario party 6
What makes it better, the compressed audio, the lack of DLC, or the lack of VMU?
It feels good to not be alone. I think both BK games are criminally overlooked JRPGs. I hope Monolith and Tri-Crescendo get back together to do something similar.
SSBM
Metroid Prime 1&2
TLoZ Wind Waker
>lack of dlc is a bad thing
>only one person mentions pikmin
for shame, Sup Forums
A pity Origins wasn't even released in EU.
It's one of those games I bought a second time after losing it even though I beat it multiple times before.
Pikmin and Pikmin 2 are by far my favorites.
pic related is a guilty pleasure
It's content that you can't play because the Gamecube didn't have a good internet connection. You can still get it on Dreamcast.
Metroid Prime 1 and 2
Pikmin 1
REmake and Resident Evil 4
Eternal Darknsss
I fucking hate Baten Kaitos and I wish I had never played it.
Just sharing.
Wario World
uh the crippling bugs that were fixed?
this desu
>a one thousand year old door
the thousand year door
>strykers
strikers
>warioland 7
Wario world
You have poor taste. Just sharing.
Why so?
The backgrounds are beautiful and the battle system is nice.
Only complaints from me would be the card managment and sometimes(rarely) goofy voice acting
No, I have great taste. If I had bad taste I'd like the underwhelming trash that is Baten Kaitos. But let's not dwell on this.
>strikers
Smash Football
Such as?
the dlc was included in the gamecube release retard
i hated it too. the ugly ps1-esque 2D pre-rendered backgrounds and weird card-based battle system turned me off lol
Nobody cares, faggot.
Super Monkey Ball
Voice acting was atrocious. I muted the voices the moment I could pause the game.
Deck building was inexistent, no strategy
Backgrounds were great, but I didn't like controlling a tiny blue pixel
But above all, the writing and plot were the most disappointing. Maybe not terrible, but super disappointing in many places and ways
SEGA PC ports from that time are almost universally fine
multiple missions were completely bugged on DC
Moonfish ones the one I remember most only as it was annoying as shit
>Skies of Arcadia Legends
Wasn't that heavily censored by Nintendo?
skies port on current gen consoles would be amazing. id pay any amount
F-Zero GX
Paper Mario TTYD
Resident Evil 4
Killer7
Super Smash Bros Melee
Zelda Wind Waker & Twilight Princess
Fun shit
Wut?
No, the minimum censorship that's in the game is a carry-over from the PAL and US DC version.
It's on the Gamecube version though. With more content on top of it.
The only thing worse about the Gamecube version is the audio.
Specifically?
Nah, it was censored by sega for US release on both DC and GC
also it was just the one belly dancing outfit, so nobody cared
They also censored topless Vigoro.
Wind Waker
Chibi-Robo
Ultimate Spider-Man
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year door
Pokemon Colosseum
Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life
Dragon Ball Z Budokai 2 and Sagas
Kirby Air Ride
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle
Spongebob Squarepants Battle for Bikini Bottom
SSX on Tour
Zatch Bell! Mamodo Fury
Metroid Prime (both), Skies of Arcadia and PSO ep 1&2
I basically bought my GC back in the day for PSO and SoA in fact, could also play Eternal Darkness, F-zero, RE4 and a good bunch of other great games, a lot of them already said by other Sup Forumsirgins.
Looking back, I think GC was the last console with a good, solid library I've bought so far.
Red Faction 2
Timesplitters 3
Smash bros melee
Metroid Prime & 2
Wind Waker
Mario Sunshine
Killer 7
Spooky Italian Plumber
Resident evil 0 & 4
Tales of Symphonia
Hunter the Reckoning
Luigi's mansion
Renegade squadron 3 and 4
Wind waker
Paper Mario
Twin snakes
are you fucking braindead?
I JUST told you one, i didn't keep a notebook of them and the last time i played the DC version was over a decade ago
It was mostly fetch quests like the moonfish one and others where things would bug out of your inventory, npcs would act like you didn't have shit, or the last couple of whatever would fail to spawn
>I basically bought my GC back in the day for PSO and SoA in fact, could also play Eternal Darkness, F-zero, RE4
3/5 are Sega games.
Defender
Melee
A few others, I can't really remember since it's been so long
I forgot:
PSO EP1&2
Soul Calibur 2
Melee
Chao Garden
And?
Like I said, I bought it for PSO and SoA, the fact that I could also play other great games was a nice little plus (Though Metroid Prime came much later, it would made me get a GC too)
Okay.
I don't mind the voice acting much as it's been not a big priority I guess. Most of the times you'll have to read anyway.
With deck building the thing is that you'll get better cards anyway and especially in the beginning there isn't much to pick from. But I don't agree with it having no strategy. Numbers and elements were the most dominant factor there.
The pixel you controlled wasn't THAT tiny. For a RPG of this kind it's no big deal as you don't need to react fast or something outside the battle system.
With the plot I agree so far that it's rather generic JRPG stuff, yet it's been one of my first story-centered RPGs and I enjoyed it. The sealed away body parts of the evil god and such sounded pretty cool to me. Writing was okay for me, didn't play in english.
So you are right in some ways but I wouldn't call it shit really.
Pokemon colosseum and gale of darkness
On a Nintendo system. The Dreamcast was the better system at the end of the day, however.
Because of ebay reseller faggots
>tfw shelled out nearly $40 for MGS Twin Snakes
smash hands down
Picture related
Fucking loved playing this. The BMW Z8 mission (I believe it was the second mission) was the best. Driving through Bucharest, blowing shit up. I played that mission about a billion times over.
I think it was the handling of the car I liked more than anything, you could just skid it around and do donuts really easily
Smash what? I hope you're not one of those autistic niggers who calls Smash Bros 'Smash'.
>The Dreamcast was the better system at the end of the day, however.
seems consumers didn't agree with you
Also the dreamcast was one of the worst constructed systems in history
I own 2 though just in case
Animal Crossing - Comfy as fuck.
F-Zero GX - The opposite of comfy, this shit will get you hyped.
Kirby Air Ride - Great fun, easy to pick up and immediately understand.
Paper Mario TTYD - Okay game, way too easy but the badge system is great.
Pikmin 1/2 - Interesting concept, 1 has more exploration and 2 has more combat.
Super Mario Sunshine - Great platformer with some questionable design choices.
Super Monkey Ball - Surprisingly challenging for such a simple concept.
Maylay - It's fucking maylay.
WarioWare - Same thing as Air Ride, easy to understand, although the skill gap between veterans and newcomers is pretty big.
the multiplayer in that game was the best
Just picked up time splitters 2 for 20$ at a local shop. Controls take some getting used to but the game still stands up
...
It was only on the market for a couple of years, but if you're a casual you'll probably prefer the PS2 or Gamecube. The Dreamcast is more for arcade style players.
Tak 1 was damn fine. The sequels were mediocre.
Eternal Darkness
Vexx
REmake
RE4
Geist
Custom Robo
Thousand Year Door
007 Everything or Nothing
Crystal Chronicles
Pitfall Harry Lost Expedition
Beyond Good and Evil
BATEN
KAITOS
ETERNAL
WINGS
AND
THE
LOST
OCEAN
One of the best twists in vidya
>It was only on the market for a couple of years
you say it like that was an intentional thing
No, they ended production because it was bleeding money and still had massive hardware flaws while the ps2 was outselling them in a month
>but if you're a casual you'll probably prefer the PS2 or Gamecube. The Dreamcast is more for arcade style players
>dreamcast
>not casual
lmao what planet are you living on? Takezaki specifically designed the DC to move away from hardcore gaming towards a more causal audience. Hes quoted as saying so
Being a fanboy is one thing but this is sad af
F-Zero GX
Chaos Field
Skies of Arcadia Legends
Baten Kaitos Origins
Fire Emblem Path of Radiance
Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime 2
Melee
I never got around to playing. I only played Origins. Is it better than the sequel? Is the music as good? Is the voice acting as good? Is the battle system as good?
If Melee isn't on your list you're doing it wrong
>No, they ended production because it was bleeding money
No, it wasn't the Dreamcast that was losing money, it was that Sega didn't have enough money. If FFVII hadn't come out the Dreamcast wouldn't have ceased production as quickly. This is because FFVII allowed the PS to take the lead over the Saturn in the Japanese market.
>while the ps2 was outselling them in a month
The PS2 massacred everything in that gen while being the least impressive console technically.
>Takezaki specifically designed the DC to move away from hardcore gaming
Whether he did or not is irrelevant, considering the arcade perfect ports on the system.
I'd say it's better because they didn't homogenize the battle system into one fucking deck. I only ever got a few hours into Origins. Liked where it was going but couldn't deal with the shitty changed combat system.
Homoginized? How so?
Origins is better. Battle wise and voice acting wise. Music in both is equally good.
In the original, every character has their own deck.
Tales of Symphonia
kirby's Air ride my NIGGA!
>No, it wasn't the Dreamcast that was losing money
DC sold at a loss to begin with, had to engage in a discount/rebate wars to try and stay relevant, and ended as a huge net loss financially for sega
you can't spin it in any other way, dreamcast was an open bleeding wound financially
>The PS2 massacred everything in that gen while being the least impressive console technically.
couldn't agree more.
That was by far my least favorite, only got one very late in the game to play shadow of the colossus and KH
Are you me? I only have 8 games for my PS2. I've played many others and they all seem rather underwhelming.
