To be fair, banning for anything they do in single-player is retarded. But chances are only a fraction of one percent of people using cheat software don't do it online so it's not that big a deal.

Actually thats kind of bullshit.
Assuming this guy isn't lying and he actually only cheated in singleplayer, theres no reason why he should have been banned, and the excuse that "hes farming coins" or whatever is pretty crappy on ubisofts part.
That being said, hes most likely lying, although i dont know if he would have a real reason to lie on a cheaters website.

The interesting thing is that cheaters think it's acceptable if they're the only ones cheating. I remember playing S4 League years ago and just being stunned by this argument between some some Malayian girl and someone else about cheating. The Malaysian was using a speed hack that made her incredibly fast, but it was obvious she couldn't control herself at all and would get caught on ledges and doorways. The other guy had infinite flight, could see through walls and an instant kill sniper rifle. And he was also near invincible.

The sniper guy was angry at the girl since she was too fast to hit. The girl was angry that this guy was almost immortal. Both of them accused the other at cheating and being shit at the game, despite both of them cheating and being shit at the game.

I played Siege only during the Free Weekend, but the only Single player part I saw were the Operations/Situations that were basically Tutorial anyway.

They're actually just shitters. They want to feel good when they aren't, which is easy enough in single player since you can usually choose a difficulty, but in multiplayer? Gotta hack for that feel.

There's nothing wrong with cheating in single player, since it doesn't affect other people. When you're cheating in multiplayer it's another matter entirely.
