Give me one good reason why you haven't bought no man's sky, without shitting or bashing on it

give me one good reason why you haven't bought no man's sky, without shitting or bashing on it

Because I don't want to buy No Man's Sky.

Because it's not on PC yet, dumbass.

I don't care about it. I have no interest in playing it.

i dont have 60 bucks

I already own Spore.

Because its worth 20 shekels not 60

I've got plenty of other games to play first. I'll maybe look into it in a couple years or something if it's still around.

It seemed overpriced for the content it had.

>give me one good reason why you haven't bought no man's sky, without giving me one good reason why you haven't bought no man's sky

Fuck off, dickhead.

It's 60 dollars for a procedurally generated game and I prefer fleshed out levels and concepts over that with the exception of roguelikes.

Cause I'm a gigantic brainless faggot that lets a board of autistic virgins dictate my life.

Hope the lead dev an heroes to be honest

it's not 20 euros yet

I don't care about randomly generated resource gathering games anymore
Also it's $60 when a lot other games in this genre are way cheaper and can offer a lot more

From gameplay footage it seems below par, overpriced. devs obviously lied about the features in the game so they cannot be trusted and the game should be avoided therefore.

I played Starbound in early beta. At 15$ I was still gravely disappointed.
Randomly generated monsters and environments is the worst kind of filler content

Why should I pay 60$ for NMS?

Lack of content, shallow gameplay, 60$ pricetag, scumbag lying dev to name a few.

Looks too repetetive for my taste

I am not interested in purchasing it.

It literally is that fucking simple.

Because it costs $60 and from what I've seen/read as well as ignoring the whole multiplayer thing. I can't really invest $60 in it. I'd buy it for $20, maybe $30

>give one reason without saying you don't like it
well gee I dunno sean I guess I should just buy it then

Because I'm a fat fuck who'd rather spend money on food

i already have starbound and subnautica

Well it costs more than twice as much as minecraft (currently, minecraft is 27 dollars, but it has been sold for 20 dollars for each copy), but NMS has a fifth of the features of minecraft. I'm not even sure if the procedural generation is better than minecraft's, because minecraft lets you edit the procedural generated world. If NMS were to add in terrain editing features, like in Second Life, it might be worth $20.

Because I don't feel its worth 60 dollars. I'll buy for maybe 30ish .

I don't want it and it looks shallow. If I wanted to play procedurally generated space exploration I'de play starbound, there's more to do and it's cheaper.

cause its not out on PC yet

>infinite content
>overpriced

He just sold an indie game worth $20 based on concept art and blatant lies to thousands for $60, and he has an entire legion in the form of leddit riding his jock.

I'm sure he feels just fine about himself (not saying he should)

>18 Quintilian =/= Infinite

I expect to get it for free in the morning silly.

I was LONG hyped for NMS since I first saw it and it looked great. Sucks to hear they made a generic piece of shit out of it.

It actually made me buy Elite Dangerous but I'll hold off with the purchase until I've played NMS.

Because I fucking refuse to pay aaa monies for an indie game.

You know what else has infinite content? A calculator. Would you like to buy mine for $60?

I wouldn't even want if it were free. I'm not autistic enough to "explore" procedurally generated content

Because it looks bland and boring as shit

I don't like space games

I don't think paying full price for a game with indie level production is value for money

Previews provided little information on what the game actually is. It seems smarter to wait and see if what it offers is substantial.

Because it's 60 bucks for an indie title from some random out-of-nowhere Indie company. Half the price and I might give it a shot. Otherwise, they can truly fuck themselves for selling for that high at release.

I can't afford it because I don't have a job.

I might buy it later. It looks good and anyone who bashes it is retarded and most likely plays some kind of MOBA.

it literally has a gog version, that means pirating will be hassle free and require no cracks or anything like that. why would you pay for this game with all of the controversy surrounding it when pirating it will be trivial.

I did buy it and it's not very good.
6/10 maybe.

Would've been stoked had it been 20$

Autism simulators aren't my type of "game"

What can I do that in Xth hour of the game that is fundamentally different than the first hour?

Nothing.

I just do things faster. No new options are given that change the way I play the game. The worlds are sterile, open, and utterly lacking in any creative choice and do not invite exploration. The only reason to play it is to do whatever you're doing faster.

Well if it being shit isn't a valid reason then I guess I don't have a reason

So where is the torrent for it? I thought it had no DRM.

>without shitting or bashing on it
But the things I'd shit on it for are the reasons I won't buy it.
>totally absurd price point
>tedious gameplay that's almost nothing but grind, basically the resource gathering of Minecraft without the building
>procedurally generated content that's mostly only different graphically isn't compelling
>doesn't even have multiplayer, can't fuck around with friends
If I had no reason to shit on it, it would be a great game.

It doesn't look like a fun or fulfilling game- my roommate has been playing it for 3 days straight and the only thing that came to mind was "Well, it looks pretty I guess" because all I ever see him do is roam around empty expanses.

I might pay 5$ to check it out but I don't pay 60$ for games I WANT to play.

not out on pc til tomorrow, friend

I, as many others, don't even know what the fuck is it about

They talked about MP and then it's not, you have spaceships but now only one, there's exploration but no secrets on planets, there's something at the center of the galaxy but no one cares, you collect minerals for something that isn't there, and trading with people isn't clear for what since there's no MP, and it's coming to PC but not yet

It's a gigantic "but" on all angles, delivering nothing.

Given what I've heard, I'm not confident in the moment-to-moment gameplay.

Lemme guess..between the age of 12-15yrs old..right?

get ready for the storm

Already pre-ordered it.

I hope to god there's a PC mod within a week that puts a radio in my space ship.

I've already got a ton of retro wave / synth shit lined up in anticipation to just sit on my ass on Friday and float around space. I'm super pumped for some chill ass vibes.

>give me one good reason you don't hammer nails through your feet without saying it would be painful or it would damage your body

Fuckers in school telling me, always on the imageboards Sean Murray ain't bout this, Sean Murray ain't bout that My boy a nu-male from fucking Straya and them He, he they say that nigga don't be putting in no work SHUT THE FUCK UP! Y'all niggas ain't know shit All ya motherfuckers talk about Sean Murray ain't no real man Sean Murray ain't this Sean Murray a cuck SHUT THE FUCK UP Y'all don't live with that nigga Y'all know that nigga got caught tellin' lies talkin' bout he got multiplayer and shit Nigga been lyin' since fuckin', I don't know when! Motherfuckers stop fuckin' playin' him like that Them niggas savages out there If I catch another motherfucker talking sweet about Sean Murray I'm fucking reporting they ass! I'm not fucking playing no more You know those niggas role with Sony and them

Not the Sci Fi adventure I remember being hyped for 3 years ago, therefore, I will pass.

>turn play list on
>start game
>settings->music volume->zero

there you go, saved you a week

It's $60 for a $20 game.

too bad you can't actually do any exploring because you're constantly trying to make ends meet in regards to recharging your ship and shit. You'll be doing chores far longer than you'll do any space flying

Why would I spend $60 on an extended tech demo?

Because of how they handled "exploring the galaxy"
You'd expect a big overworld style that you can explore at your own leisure, going across sides or just anywhere if you wanted maybe
But instead they throw in a handful of their billions of planets in a line and call it a galaxy, and if you want to explore another handful you have to go into a ng+ and lose your upgrades and start from scratch all over again

Despite exploration being their main fucking seller, they somehow made that tedious as hell

>Mfw the kind of person too dumb to do is the kind of person who enjoys this shit game

It doesn't look fun.

Because its not even finished

It's not about that. I don't really want the music to play when I'm walking on the planet. I mostly just want it when driving my space ship.

it looks boring tbqh

Looks boring as shit desu.
Why would I pay to be bored?

Cause I don't smoke weed anymore. Seems like a cool stoner game though because weed makes boring repetitive things more interesting. Especially if it looks good.

Nobody knows how this will run on PC yet.

It was a PS4 exclusive for a while, what if ends up being a shitty port?

nigga you read anything from people who played this game? you spend barely any time flying. you can't cruise around near the surface of planets either, its purely for "ok i'm done on this planet, time to fly until i run out of fuel, then land on the nearest planet so i can mine resources until i can fly again"

Because I'm currently working on repetition simulator 2016 and this game is cutting my profit margin.

Not interested in it

No interest whatsoever. I'll be playing Witcher 3 until Last Guardian hits in October.

Because i'll pirate it.

I don't get it

It's Minecraft without the building
It's Space Engineers without the MP

So what do you do?

E V E R Y T H I N G

dev lying is an automatic pirate

>infinite content
>pay $60 for a drawing pad and a pencil

Keep saying stupid shit and you'll keep getting stupid answers.

>empty planet after empty planet
>infinite content

You farm materials.

Because it looks like a boring walking simulator. Why would I waste my time shooting rocks when I can be playing Monster Hunter instead, a game with actual gameplay.

>got it yesterday
>got lost in a cave
>had to walk around and listen to my character breath heavily for 3 hours while i try to find a way out

>underage detected
Get a real calculator and come back to me

Because it's space minecraft.

i dunno, i'm gonna read reviews and decide later.

unlike the majority of retards on here i'm not basing my entire opinion on third hand knowledge and a picture of an animal

>You know what else has infinite content?
Your mom

i get it

>tell me why you dont want this
>without giving a negative response

Cuz survival genre is shit
And im not autistic enough to play another one

I'm straight

Because I'm gonna pirate the GOG version

Because sandboxes are the cancer killing videogames

It's not worth 60 dollars plain and simple.
If I wanted procedural space exploration I would play starbound, at least that has alien settlements and lets you build mud huts.

The truth is that this is not worth 60 bucks

you are literally the cancer killing video games

people like sandboxes, no one cares if you are upset about it

We will have to wait and see but the Devs are hinting at free DLC/addon

I like games that have a beginning, middle and end.

this pretty much

I never pay more than 20 bucks for a video game.
