Sure this is true of the average pleb maybe, the general public has shit taste about almost everything. That's been true for as long as there has been a "general public." Its just one of the basic facts about humanity.
But there aren't even really any smaller games filling the niche. There's clearly at least some demand, what the fuck is the invisible hand of the free market doing?

The solution is to BETHESDA it and make a bunch of races but put actual effort into making them different, then make dialogue that supports that.
