Two 1920x1080 @ 60 Hz

I'm planning to upgrade to two GPUs, add on a SSD, and eventually get a new processor. Been working in the corporate world since January so I have ample cash compared to when I slaved away at minimum wage to save up for what I have now. I have no trouble running anything at all for now, so I have little motivation to bother ordering new parts though.

Windows 7

Absolutely zero reason to upgrade.

8350 aint bad

he should definitely be overclocking it though. It does 4.5+ghz easily on air. could reach 5.0ghz on water.

144hz is great for fast paced games. FPS, flight and racing sims, anything action really. And really, better than 144hz is running 120hz and ULMB if you're nvidia. It's the most responsive, smoothest looking display you can get.

Huge, I haven't had -any- screen tearing anyhow, as you cannot use Gsync AND ULMB, it's one or the other. So ULMB all the way if you want that extra smooth, super responsive feel. I'd have a hard time going back for most games.

He's probably making fun of how the short side of it is facing the fan. It's best to have it perpendicular to how it is in the picture, but honestly it's not a big deal and you'd get very minimal differences in efficacy by changing it unless you keep the room super hot and it's constantly running. looking through this thread Sup Forums has pretty good specs, i thought everyone here literally gamed on toasters and ~$500 budget builds going from the response to the deus ex requirements

I honestly forgot this was a Sup Forums thread until you said that.

I have a decent TT aftermarket aircooler (huge heatsink, large dual fans and good case airflow). It never goes above 65 degrees even in full load.

I hate win10 but I didn't want to pass on the free upgrade

Depends on the motherboard. If you don't have a mobo that can overclock you're fucked, but if you do, most motherboards do the overclocking for you. All you gotta do is go into the bios of your mobo at start up and turn it on.

Manually setting it isnt hard either. Just gotta turn off any power saving states in the bios and in windows. I recommend googling your mobo + "8350 overclock" and finding a guide. It's relatively easy.

your heatsink is right-side round. you're taking HOT air rising and pushing it through your sink fins. having the heatsink with the fan on the east side takes stagnant air(which is cooler) + hot air rising and pushes it through your fins.

this is a small difference in celsius (1-3), but it's just weird looking and inefficient.
