Elite Dangerous- Shit
Other than being space flight games, they're pretty different.
Neither
>Star Citizen- Doesn't exist
Yes it does. You can play it right now. It's just as barebones as Elite.
Already have star citizen, is elite that bad? It's seems to me that it has more content than no man's sky...
Has elite improved much since release? I got bored of it pretty quickly after the immersion wow factor wore off
House of the Dying Sun
Better world building, flying and spess aesthetics than all of those plus it's not a sandbox exploration game
Do any of these allow me to steal ships off people?
>Star Citizen
Infinite ideas, infinite development time
>No Man's Sky
Infinite speculation, infinite walking
>Elite Dangerous
Infinite promises, about three missions to repeat infinitely
Star citizen will, I think.
Never heard of it.
Star Citizen is planned to have the most fleshed out singleplayer content, I believe.
I own Elite and have backed $100 on Star Citizen. For now, go with Elite. It's an actual finished game. I think Star Citizen is going to be amazing someday, but there's pretty much no real content right now and there probably won't be until next year. I'd say wait until Squadron 42 comes out before buying Star Citizen.
Thank christ. Im sick of EVE being the only game where ypu can do that.
Why did you forget my game?
Would you say elite is fun to play with friends? Or is it as bad of a grindfest as people say?
It's a indie vr pc game with surprisingly good pc controls.
Play on hardest difficultly and you'll find yourself being absolutely slaughtered for any mistakes
I decide maybe if I kill another sentinel I can outrun them and hide in my ship. I pop out from behind the pillars and dash back towards the cave entrance. Two sentinels come rushing towards me. Dang. I engage in a desperate shootout with them, my aim all over the place. I somehow manage to take them down. When I do, the wanted level drops unexpectedly. My heart is racing. This is my first 10 minutes of the gsame!!
Just wait for Elon Musk to try it, decide it's shit, and pour 10 million dollars into a proper space sim.
Star Citizen is a vaporware scam.
Elite Dangerous is great for combat but has really bad "exploration" and planet landings, No Man's Sky is great for exploring in space and on planets but the combat is bad.
Why? It was delayed a lot, but the content that is there so far is pretty amazing..
Playing with friends is the best way to play it. It can get a little bit lonely by yourself but maybe that's your style. Either way it's still a really solid game though. If you know what you're doing you can avoid falling into a grindfest, though you'll have to look at guides.
>It's just as barebones as Elite
You havent played either of these games have you.
Elite it is then!
>but the content that is there so far is pretty amazing
wow you must be pretty naive
That idea arouses me in ways women never will.
Explain why?
Trust me, he will find issues. There are so many that NMS made a general tweet about problems without bothering to get specific.
I suppose Elite is the best.
If only the devs could get their shit together and stop doing what we don't want them doing in content patches.
Its very grindy. I feel like it captures the atmosphere of space, with all the solitude and emptyness sitting in a huge creaking hunk of metal, excellenty, but it ends up being a double edged sword and leaves little gameplay left. All you ever do is buy resource x - travel a few system - sell resource x buy resource y - repeat. Just so you can buy a slightly bigger ship with the ability to trade at a slightly larger scale.
Go play X3 instead if you want a space game.
Old and outdated af.
