God that last panel is how I felt with the expansion trying to even level MCH shit was so boring I was fucking falling asleep during a duty.

I'm still balls deep into this game 12 years after I started. Took some brief breaks after WotG launched and after Abyssea, but I've otherwise been playing that shit solid. Haven't had anything fill the void in my life like this game has.

I'm jealous, after my first account got hacked I started a new one but it just wasn't the same I didn't wanna have to re-do a bunch of shit like getting my O.Hat and AF runs I liked having all the stupid cosmetic shit too.

I know how you feel, man. I sold my account back in 2008 when WotG dropped and I regret it almost immediately. When I decided to come back, I just told SE I was hacked and they got my account back, and I got to keep all the money. Best part was they never sold my account to a buyer, so all my stuff was in tact.

That said though, I've been leveling an alt account recently for dualboxing and it's been a blast to do it all again.

I wish i could do the same user, after delves got nerfed and became 6man only fests the game just lost its luster to me, which is a shame cause that last bit of alluvion armor sets with "custom" stats tickles my autism like nothing else.

I really liked where it went with RoV, the Escha stuff at lower tiers reminds me of Abyssea, which I actually enjoyed a lot due to its lowman nature. Me and my friends can blow through most of T1 and T2 mobs no problem, which is great. I hate Reisenjima augments though, they're too random compared to skirmish augments, but at least they're cheaper.

Sadly noone to play with so i stopped right around the time those came out, think it was maybe 2 weeks before alluvion augments actually, christ if invent wasnt a factor i coulda stayed on that for months alone

I had to really push it and it was the most complicated procedure I've ever had to do with a company. I started with an online chat and I couldn't verify the birthday, it was either changed or I used a false one when I started back in 2004 since I was under 18. Either way, they tried to shut me down there, but I kept pushing and told them I was hacked, so they said they'd email me some additional forms.

Thing was, these weren't just digital things, they were actual forms I had to print out, write on, have a fucking notary public read over and stamp, and then mail them to SE. Two weeks or so later, they gave me my account back.

While FF11 was it's own Final Fantasy world and experience FF14 just tries to score points by doing tons of throwbacks to other games and copying over content from them for quick sales. It's basically a parody of the franchise.

This is the same procedure I had to go through, because I was 16 when I started playing and used my brother's credit card.

Square-Enix has such dick customer service that I actually changed my FFXI password/login to POL5ucksballs.

Used it up until I quit in late 2012.
