What a Qt

>not even OC can save a dead general

It's not fixed in my canon.

has anyone heard anything about the amazon watch pre-orders?

They are using Kyle as a courier.

Kyle has them in the year 2074

...

...

METAFICTIONAL ANAMOLY

Man do I wish ZTD stayed canceled.

>12 years until Kyle finally enters your body

Not if i kill myself first

This game was lacking, but it's led to some great OC

Damn, I really like Carlos but it's truly no use because he was a shitter born into the god and Uchi forsaken ZE universe.

If ZTD taught me anything, it's that life is simply unfair on an infinite amount of levels.

...

I just beat the game what the fuck.
>That talk with Phi "Hiding a secret"
>All those talk of balls
>"It's a boy!" given birth first, before it's known there were twins
Got me good.

Also why did the ending suck so bad.

>Uchi doesn't give a fuck about Carlos, didn't even write him
>ZE4 somehow against impossible odds is greenlit and made
>Uchi wouldn't bother including Carlos and probably lacks any concept of how to properly handle his character with twists anyways

You're doomed, user, even if we find ourselves on the golden timeline where ZE4 is made and is great.

Is this a mini sadness circlejerk?

>Tfw take too long to beat the game and now everyone is done discussing it and threads are dead

You might want to just go through the archives and read through old threads.

After Uchi dropped a couple of, uh, bombshells the discussion blew up only to come down to barely anything. I think people finally gave up on ZE and barely anyone's buying into the build-you-own canon stuff. Which is a shame because it could have been such great meme fuel

Who are the last three going to be?

Santa, Left, Jackie Chan

4

Is this an old meme? I wasn't around back then.

Anyways, I would prefer to just remove Eric, Q, Diana, and Junpei.

I really wanted the twist about Q and Delta to work. I liked the idea since they made it clear no one knew who the kid was, yet the other teams never questioned who "Q" in the Q-Team was since they actually knew him; that part actually worked.
But telling me there was a man in a wheelchair whom no one ever mentioned and somehow always was out of sight for the player during the entire game? I don't know, feels like an asspull -- there should have been a few more hints for his existence so that when you first saw him something should have clicked into place in your mind and make you think "Oh, so that's why" instead of just raising more questions. At least there were a few things like during one bad ending Eric shoot one more time than should have been necessary, turns out was to shoot Delta, which brings the total number of things Eric successfully accomplished to 1 since he did manage to kill Mira's murderer.
Delta killing Mira just felt like an excuse to cause some drama.

Did they ever refer to Sean as "Q" during the game? Don't think they did. That part worked well, at least.

At least I'm not the only one. It's simply unfair, there's nothing more to it.

Knowing Uchi's past games, good characters

Santa, Clover et Sean (Sean is a Left clone)

I liked the concept of Q/Delta being there the whole time especially since it's part of the reason the game is called "Decision Game" this time instead of Nonary Game, but it just felt really sloppy in the end.

>Deci Game
>Nona Game

Oh, that does make sense. Wonder why I never thought about it. Pretty clever actually.

Oh, and add in Phi+Kyle. I definitely wouldn't mind a game focused around a smaller core group of individuals and their development versus stretching that shit out over 9 characters.

>Carlos, Akane, Sigma+Kyle, and Phi, perhaps with cameos from a few other characters

Maybe Carlos could be related to Brother/Left, and the three from VLR could be initially posed to distrust him for it while we play as him. There, easy dramatic tension.

>DECIsion game
>X-door and X-passes
>"Together with me, DELTA, god knows how Akane couldn't unscramble that we are ten."
The setup was there for the twist, but again, so many parts of it fell flat.

I hate to say this but I really hate how far they stretched the whole "accessible to newcomers" shit paired with the teams. Three protagonists were a mistake (no offense to anyone that liked Diana and/or Sean)--it would have been more justified if the game actually was 40 hours like Karen bullshitted.

The idea of a small core group is an interesting concept for a ZE game...it's blasphemy, though.

>40 hours
For what purpose did she say this?

she's really really REALLY bad at puzzles

...

Anyone remember which segment had that moment where Diana and Phi cuddle up in Dcom? I wanna rewatch it knowing what I now know.

Why were termites important in VLR anyway?

Immediately after the incineration.

Oh right, damn.

They were probably descendants of the mysterious species of aliens.

so in other words I don't know

So everyone in the ending had memories of all timelines right? So they know Mira was a sociopath murderer that killed lots of people in brutal ways, why was everyone just kind of fine with that?

I haven't seen Uchi's Q&A yet. Do we have a link to it?

What if the "true end" timeline of ZTD actually leads to a more fucked up future than VLR because the 9 participants bought into Delta's bullshit? Aliens incl. Only Akane, Carlos, and Delta are happy with it because they're fucking nerds.

What a twist!

So I thought about something, Dio isn't really an alibi, it's his model number. He says he's from the 4th generation of Left clones, so he's generation D, model 10. D10, Dio.

Check the epilogue files. She turns herself in. and then Sean and Eric bust her out.

There isn't even one. Uchi just dropped some noncanon metafiction shit about Kyle jumping to the year 2028 in real life, and how anything we can come up with that makes more sense than his theories is canon.

They only had their own memories.

Morphogenetic Field somehow changed from being a psychic upload/download system like in 999/VLR into what is effectively teleportation through space/time.

They were too distracted by Delta, I guess.

>D10

Well I mean, it works out.

>Expressions
>Q

but that's wrong, you fucking SHIFTer

Are you fucking kidding me?

Where did he do that? It's not on his Twitter

Why would Sean bust her out? I understand Eric, since he's....well.....Eric, but Sean? She straight up told him she's a cold blooded murderer who does understand emotion and so kill people without remorse for her selfish heart fetish.

this is what you get

Just read the epilogue files. It's worse than you think.

Same reason Carlos considers Akane and Junpei his bffs. Uchi is a hack.

he hasn't done one yet, sounds like he might do one later. now is the time to "discuss it with friends over beers"

I'm not really sure if Uchi fully considers ZE HIS universe and rather it's own mysterious entity to speculate upon.

>thinking that what he has to say is only a theory

its*

STOP SHOWING UP IN MY RUNS YOU FUCKING SHIT TRASH ITEM

So what the hell do Sigma, Phi, and Diana go on to do in the true ending?

Sigma gives Diana her daily dose while Phi becomes Kamen Rider.
It's my non-canon metafiction so it must be true.

Uchi probably wanted to keep it ambiguous. He only wrote that team after all. I personally would have preferred the "open-ending" shit to be pulled with Carlos and for Sigma and Phi to get some closure. They went through two death games, for fuck's sake.

What part of the game was this again and why do you do it

Delta apologizes to his family and they all move into a big apartment complex.

The Q team ending where you have to choose someone to kill (and you can choose to kill Delta for a secret end).

You shoot the portraits because it's part of the puzzle. I think you get the grenade launcher after doing this?

Why is Delta not on there but Sean instead?

Is the VLR and 999 OC as good as the ZTD stuff? no one posts that stuff and i just finished the series so im upset

I'm not sure, but here's my meme stock:
mega.nz/#F!kt4iAATD!Kqr7zzAdm_WlItB32nYTgw

It has a bit of stuff from 999 and VLR.

The entire Mexican Stand-off section of the game just seems to forget Delta exists, Perceptive Ending aside.

Why would Eric and Mira want to kill Sean when he's not even on the X-Pass list?

That's one of the reasons why Eric is constantly on his case. He isn't on the X-pass board either.

Awesome user, thanks.

NON CANON METAFICTION?

''Religious Fanatic'' is an anagram for ''Antisocial Figure'' and also hides ANOTHER ANAGRAM containing a clue towards his identity, said anagram is ''Eulogist in Africa'' which shows that after spending so much time surrounded by death he decided to purge the planet.

More will be revealed on the 4th game. Hope you guys look forward to it!

...

No, Delta is on the X-pass board, hes just called Q and everybody thinks thats his name.

But here Sean (which we think is Q) is displayed on the board as if he was a player.

FUCK THIS. My alien canon pales in comparison to the complexity of this one.

It's survival of the fittest canon, I guess.

I fucking loved Delta, if someone had to crash ZE into the ground I'm glad it was him.

Yeah this. He made the new Sup Forums baneposting and I love it.
M I N D H A C C

I'm kind of disappointed that no one has made infographics of their "canons."

Is it wrong to feel this way?

I thought Delta was absolutely amazing, too. Once the reveal happened, I played through the rest of the game in one sitting, and the way it just went from weird fucking moment to weird fucking moment was rad as hell.

>"I have no more use for this timeline"
>kills everybody with mindhaccs except Diana
>pause
>the most unenthused "mom" ever
>cut to black

It's good that I wasn't the kind of person that was actually invested in the quality and coherency of writing because of Danganronpa dulling my senses to the point where a wild ride is all I crave, because if I was actually invested in that stuff, I can see why one might hate ZTD. But as it stands, a wild fucking ride I craved, and a wild fucking ride I got.

Why does everyone hate 999 Clover because of one bad ending?

muh snek
I love her.

Since I had already given up hope about Uchi ever giving a good answer to any of the most pressing questions, I was actually kind of excited to see what canons people would cook up about ZTD, be them meme-fueled or serious.

The lack of anything just goes to show how done the fanbase is with the universe.

>(and you can choose to kill Delta for a secret end).

Wait, seriously? How?

Seriously, user? You just have to input his name. There's nothing complex about it.

The mexican standoff he means.

Type delta and Sean will shot at Delta.

I got a happy ending, but why does it feel like I lost?

It's pretty much like writing fanfic (even if you're fixing plot holes and making the story better) and a lot of individuals generally have an aversion to stuff like that, even looking down on it.

Remember folks, the main theme and moral of ZTD is "Life is simply unfair."

>terrorist will kill 8 billion in god knows how many timelines
>happy ending
you make me sick

...

WHY DOES IT KEEP SHOWING THE DOG

Gab is timeless.

This scene was so dumb. If Carlos was the killer, why would he even need to pretend that Akane was the one who did it? Obviously she wouldn't believe that, no matter how convincingly he said it.

But what WAS even the point of Gab? I could understand if he had been something like Delta's supposed guiding dog, but he wasn't. He was merely an organic mailbox that got shot for no reason.

>we're in the timeline where ZTD exists

>tfw it sucks

Choose your own canon holds lots of meme potential, sure, but I don't consume fiction so I can write my own fanfic - I want to see someone ELSE'S story.

According to my non canon metafiction he was there to make Delta look good, since Gab liked him he was able to fool Akane, Phi and Sigma despite them being suspicious of old men.

Wait a minute, that scene shows Akane slicing into the couch. So, shouldn't the couch be utterly fucked for the other teams too, since it's all the one area?
