Just a gentle reminder, this is a REALLY good shmup that is $2.49 this weekend on Steam.
It gets hard but it's not autistic like most shooters/bullet hell games.

its not very good
and it is for furries
It is actually really good. People were literally just asshurt that it wasn't a carbon copy of every other generic shmup and they didn't take the time to learn the mechanics.
People dislike the game because it is way too easy. Even on hard difficulty, it's like the game plays by itself.
I've seen a lot of reviews saying the controls were terrible. That's probably one of the most consistent complaints.
at 2.50 I figure why not though? I remember I wanted this game on console a long time ago then I forgot about it. So I'll give it a try at 2.50. That's basically a soda.
It's not easy, it's just not bang your head against a wall hard like most shooters.
That shit keeps the shit not popular. Also i doubt you've beat Sine Mora on hard.
Shooters shouldn't take months of muscle memory shit to just beat them. It should be more about reactions. It's not, it's all muscle memory, and then people wank over themselves beating it on 1cc. Worse community than even the Soulsfags.
The controls are fine, but it needs a controller that has x input. If you aren't memeing and have a logitech f310 youll be fine.
>It's not easy, it's just not bang your head against a wall hard like most shooters.
Of course it's easy. It plays like novice modes from regular shmups. And most shmups are not even THAT hard. They only become really difficult when playing for score. Otherwise you can clear most of them in 20-100 hours.
Why should I play a game, which I can just clear in 10 hours anyway? Shmups are about improving and challenging yourself.
Sine Mora has nice graphics and the artstyle looks good mostly, but the rest of it is complete shit.
The game isn't very exciting or fun in Story mode, and the game goes incredibly overboard with patterns and enemy fire in Arcade mode. Either way you're at the mercy of a mechanic that means you may literally have not enough time to reach/beat a boss and there's nothing you can do about it. But that's fine according to the mainstream media that wouldn't normally acknowledge shmups, they just love the game because Grasshopper's name is on it.
So dark souls to you is like level 1 tetris.
Dark Souls, like all RPGs, are just huge time dumpers. They don't require any skills, just patience.
Insane is the hardest difficulty, and primary only is how it is meant to be played.
If you have beaten it on insane or beaten hard with primary only, feel free to share, but you can't talk shit when you haven't even done it.
Looking at the leaderboards, very few people have beaten insane.
Controls fine on DS3. It actually controls very smooth and has very precise deadzones. It isn't blocky and slow like many shmups that feel like you're almost moving on a grid.
thanks. I have xbone, 360, and DS4 so hopefully those will work as well. I'm looking forward to it.
I'm not sure actually how those will all perform. I used both DS4 and DS3 on PS3 version and DS4 movement was slower, it made bosses like Domus and the lava tunnel literally impossible. I like the ship speed and movement when using DS3 and that's what I did my insane runs and primary only runs using.
Also the PC and 360 versions have uncapped fire rate and can be made about 30-40% faster with mashing and become a joke through turbo controllers, on PS3 the fire rate is capped so that holding fire gives you max fire rate.
I have on my vita. Great game
Some heavy euroshmup vibes
It's kinda fun. Coming from a guy who doesn't care for much shmups outside of Ikaruga and Radiant Silvergun
Can you play on Insane at least right from the beginning or do you have to unlock it first?
I you can, then I will buy it now, even though I probably will clear it on the first try anyway.
You can start insane right away iirc.
And no you won't considering only about ~10-20 people have beat it and it would require in-depth knowledge of the mechanics, level layouts, and enemies and bosses.
>you won't considering only about ~10-20 people have beat it
The is also really not what the regular shmup player plays.
*The game
The vast majority of people whining about it were whining about how they felt it was unfair or were whining because they didn't understand the mechanics. If you only play generic traditional japanese shmups, then maybe you wouldn't have interest in Sine Mora, but if you're going to talk shit and call it easy, the least you can do is beat it on insane or do a primary only arcade run. Shouldn't be an issue, right?
I remember having this in the Vita. Any tips about dealing with the 'Mechanics' that would help my time with it?
For 3$ more you can get Satazius which is better desu
YIFF
IN
HELL
Ok, thanks. Good to know.
It's Suda51s worst game and is a mediocre schmup at that.
what mechanics specifically?
The green ship (can't remember name) is best, weapon level 7 is best. That should help.
>using dark souls as baseline for difficult vidya
You have to be 18 or older to post here.
>sine mora
>good
Play a proper shmup you fucking fag.
how much do they fucking pay you, just to write shill threads
its so easy theres no way they pay you more than 12 cents each thread
it's pretty shit and you just like it for the characters, you furry faget
