What should I play next?
I liked Disgaea 1's story, Disgaea 2's healers getting experience from casting buffs/heals, Didn't like Disgaea 3 much. I can do D2 or D4

Except Flonne has no romantic interest in Laharl.

When you max out their affection in D2, all she says to him is that she hopes he'll be able to send her off with a smile once she goes back to Celestia.

And in D4 postgame she doesn't say anything to him, other than how she can't believe Laharl is still a selfish prick.

D2 was a rushed piece of shit.

Disgaea 4 on Vita has the most content out of any Disgaaea game and probably the 2nd best story out of them all as well.

DD2 has a shit story but the 2nd best gameplay in the series (after 5).
I recommend D4 on Vita the most, I'm playing it now and just finished up the story, but there's so much extra shit to do that I'll be dumping in another 40 hours minimum.
All Disgaeas after 2 keep the healer getting EXP for healsbuffs thing.

It was held a few weeks ago, I can't find pictures but it was your general cafe deal with Disgaea drinks. Some guy from NIS dressed up as Etna.

The only thing that came out of it was Tenpei Sato announcing another remaster of Disgaea 1's soundtrack. No game info but that's because NIS' summer greetings card showed this, the new protagonist for The Witch and The Hundred Knight 2.
