Deadly Premonition
The Room is so bad that it's funny.
Superman 64 is bad in a way that is legitimately frustrating and makes you wish you never played it.
Deadly Premonition is goofy but way to competent to be considered like The Room
That's tough because The Room and The Disaster Artist both show a surprising complexity within Tommy Wiseau and The Room. A complexity that he himself may not be aware of.
Most people think of The Room as just a wacky, hilarious trainwreck of a film;which it is. But it's got quite a bit more to it than that.
Both have the same backstory for being made but they both ended up being good for completly different reasons.
>made by someone rich
>person in charge didn't know what they were doing
>pissed off everyone involved
>product turns out to be absolute shit
Revolution 60
Nothing. There is only one Tommy Wiseau, and the sheer insanity of everything can really only be shown through film.
So Battlefront?
Two Worlds probably

I think my favorite thing about The Room is that most of the actors seem like they'd be pretty decent if they didn't constantly have to deal with Wiseau.
I mean shit, could anyone have done the "What a story, Mark!" thing properly? I mean after Mark tells him a depressing story about infidelity and domestic violence, Tommy just fucking chuckles as if someone just told them about a time they put salt in a teacher's coffee.
No human would react to a story like that. Not even a top tier /r9k/ user who hates women would just chuckle in that fashion and to "What a story"! What the fuck.

Holy fuck youtube annotations are cancer.
You're not funny.
What's that one game, "Retribution: Highway to Hell" I think? That would be a good candidate.
>Those clothed dry-hump sex scenes
The thing I liked the most was how the guy who played Chris-R wasn't even an actor but just some more or less random dude and yet, most people on set considered him pulling off the best performance in the movie.
Not on same level, but Alone in the dark was a perfect example of a game that feels like a B-tier movie. youtube.com
Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing
Big Rigs is a truly shallow game though, there's not much more to it than a pre-alpha that was sold as a finished game.
The Room was a highly ambitious project made by an alien trying to assimilate into human society. It's clearly a labor of love with a lot of misguided effort gone into it.
I do not think there is a video game equivalent of The Room. It has to meet the criteria of being a hugely ambitious project and being enjoyable because of how badly it was made, not in spite of it.
Deadly Premonition comes close, but it doesn't quite hit the mark as it is enjoyable thanks to the great story, despite the lacklustre gameplay that was tacked on.
Newgrounds Flash games.
Limbo of the Lost
The Video Game made based on that movie which is also called "The Room".
That book was fantastic, especially the audio version.
I expected a low hanging fruit exhibition, but the backstory and way he made sure to show all of Tommy's qualities, good and bad, was genuinely interesting.
His impression and way with words were also hilarious when combined with the shit Tommy genuinely pulled.
>I'm sorry, I cannot
The Disaster Artist is the funniest thing I've read in a long time.
On the anniversary Tommy funneled the crew into a room with zero air conditioning to stand quietly for five minutes, then started swearing out Bin Laden and led them in a chant yelling "USA!"
Indigo Prophecy
Deadly Premontion accomplishes what it set out to do. I can't say the same thing about The Room.
What is The Pest of videogames?
...
Didn't we agree it was Sonic 06?
this
It has to be this. Bad writer/producer who set out with a very particular vision, and made it a reality, even if nobody liked it.
Came here to post it.
best answer so far, I think Sonic 06 fits perfectly. Looks alright from a distance, but once you look up close it's like it was made by aliens who don't quite understand story development and human interactions.
I know a guy who loves DmC unironically. Not the story, mind you, but he adores the gameplay. Outside of Sup Forums there are actually a bunch of people who like this shit.
Those are people who either haven't played the mainline DMC games or failed to git gud at them.
let me show you.
No but, close. Here.

Marlow Briggs maybe?
Fucking this.

The Room: the game
It's the Twin Peaks of videogames, not The Room.
Ah, greetings, Markus.
What the fuck is this atrocity. This must be the answer to OP's question, hands down
Winner.
this t b h
>not knowing Limbo of the Lost
Seriously, if you have some hours to spare you'll be in for one of the rides of your life:
either deadly premonition or vampire: the masquerade
bunch of summerfags will now inform me that they are actually good games rather than mere memes
...
Sonic Adventure
Its called Ride to hell: Retribution i think
Harvester?
NO Mans sky
This is absolutely the correct answer.
bad rats, both are so bad that they are funny + both are memes
This
This series is one of the few mobile games worth playing
This is what I came here to post.
Definitely Sonic 06
People only hate it because it has the DMC name. If it wasn't DMC it'd be an okay action game. Still miles ahead of shit like God of War.
>Still miles ahead of shit like God of War
"No"
>something so bad that it transcends being bad and somehow becomes brilliant
Nailed it on the head
I 1000G'ed this game and loved every moment of it
Fez
Sonic 06
