Reminder that Far Cry ran on GPUs with 64MB of VRAM.

You must have only played them recently. The latest official patch broke the game completely by allowing enemies to see through certain objects e.g. shrubs and those big prefab buildings. There's an unofficial one that fixes it somewhere on the web. I recommend you replay the game with the stealth tactics you were supposed to have.

also reminder that NO ONE ELSE had ever achieved draw distances like that at the time.
