I heard there's huge problems with GBA flash carts like not 100% compatibility and suboptimal methods that result in long load times. Like rather than just loading a rom like you would on a DS flash cart you have to flash it to some NOR memory that the flashcart has onboard which takes 20 secs or longer.

EZflash4 is a good card to go too. They recently released a new model with MicroSD.
You have to use a patch tool and some games take longer to load but it just werks
I certainly would like to see a better one made though. Krikzz needs to pick up the pace on the GBA everdrive.
Almost every flash cart doesn't have 100% compatibility, but GBA carts are cheap as fuck. Anything you can't emulate you can surely buy for like 15-20$ on ebay.

For what? DS ones will play literally anything and it's as simple as slapping roms onto an sd card.
