Bought Omega Ruby, and i a shitter now?
Pokemon Go got me into Pokemon
BW2 and HGSS are best
no, all are welcome to pick up and experience a much loved series for the first time.
You unfortunately bought what is arguably the worst Pokemon game in generations.
I just beat Black 1
What's so good about the BW2?
If he want to get into competitive battles he's got not choice though.
Loads of new content.
Whats wrong with Omega Ruby? Seems pretty cool so far...
Why would you play old style Pokemon when GO exists?
Also, .
Yes, because you should be playing instead.
Continues the story, better Pokemon placement, Roxie, Rosa (tied with Hilda as best female protag), 'challenge mode' for B2 if you have beat W2 first, etc.
Compared to the previous remakes, it's just R/S again with X/Y skin. They didn't really improve anything from their originals, post game is short, no end game content, etc.
don't listen to him ORAS is up there with the best
lol
So what is the objectively (not actually objectively but you know exactly what I mean) best game to pick up right now?
Whats the endgame in pokemon like anyway?
Platinum, HG/SS, B/W, or B2/W2
Some gens introduced things like Battle Frontier, where there are trainers and scenarios much tougher than pre-game content. Emerald, one of the Gen3 games OR/AS are based off, had such a thing, but it wasn't added to them for the remakes. Others, like B/W/B2/W2 have things like the 7 Sages or loads of Legendaries to hunt. OR/AS has little places you flight and directly fight Legendaries.
Forgot to mention that OR/AS were also super handholdy and ridiculously easy.
tfw you finished publishing all your work for the week so now it's time to PokeMMO out
Im pretty new to these games so handholding is fine for me, i never thought of these games as challenging maybe i was wrong
Johto starters when, since we finally got Milotic in the game
Ooo, is this legit?
It's not so much a cry that they're not difficult, but that they just keep getting even more dumbed down. B/W have the perfect balance. You're locked into only ever seeing the new 150+ Pokemon, there's barely any hand holding (a few trainers around will heal your Pokemon after you beat them in battle), and the post game opens up the 2nd half of the map, filled with older generation Pokemon and tougher trainers and buffs the E4 and Champion.
it was really popular a few years ago, not sure what happened to it since but I guess people are still playing it
How do B2/W2 stack up against the original B/W? Just straight up improvements or is some stuff worse?
Nice. Opinions on that new pokemon they announced? Looks cool with the crazy jojo poses and nukes
Improvements all around. Even some customizable things like a small shopping district that you can set up various shops in.
The new forms of older Pokemon are pretty sweet and I'm liking most of the designs of the new ones.
It's no use.
You were born a shitter.
I did the same thing OP. On my way for the 6th badge in Omega Ruby. Last Pokemon game I've ever played was Heartgold.
I'm playing through the series now during my downtime at work.
Almost at the elite 4 in fire red.
I plan on trying to bring my pokes with me from gen to gen through pkhex and other shit up to Sun/Moon
is he a good starter pick?
Not a bad place to start. After that you should try the earlier installments like HG/SS and the Black/White games.
