Anyone replaying Spore due to the No Man's Sky fiasco?

Anyone replaying Spore due to the No Man's Sky fiasco?

Its not that bad

Yes
space stage is my favorite

>its not that bad

No, it's bad. It's just that the quality of games has dropped like a rock in the last decade so a turd from the 2000s looks great compared to a turd from 2016.

I'm thinking about it, but the space stage is so fucking unbearable with the babysitting thing and the lack of spaceships in our planets.

Nice try EA

nice try

Love cell stage, and tribal stage

Who /StillStellaris/ here?

half a year ago i reinstalled spore only for playin space age. considering doing it again.

not because of NMS but because i actually liked it

Have you ever given birth though? Do you understand how clost christ touches you when you hold your child?

Have they added anything new to it? I'm pretty bored of Stellaris but would come back to it if they had some decent DLC

yeah they added plant portraits only $19.99 please buy stellaris

>google it
>it's true

What the fuck man, I just want some added depth to the game who fucking even cares about plant faggots when there were already mushroom faggots

Yes, but I can't save shit since my old email I used with it is gone. I wanted to do a spore Sup Forums thread where we have a comfy time with the faggotrons and such (e.g. June's threads), but since I can't save I don't bother. Also forgot the mods to properly do anything.

No, it really IS that bad, it's just less apparent because the character creator is good so you get enjoyment from your little dudes doing shit.

...

Spore is legitimately a better game than NMS desu.

This, I love making the shit but it's not terribly entertaining otherwise.

I understand how close your father touched you when I read your posts.

>tfw spore mods aren't even that good
>tfw Spore is gud for 5 hours and then boring again

...

How did they fuck up so badly?

This game was really comfy. Like REALLY comfy. Can't deny it had nice ambiance.
Alien creation was great but I also loved the building and vehicle customization.
The adventures expansion thingy was my first real experience with user-generated content, so I enjoyed those too, at the time at least.

Thanks for the nostalgia OP.

>that comfy feel when you colonize an ice world to a t3 planet and it ends up looking like the pacific northwest

>another species takes a universe to close for comfort from me
>don't want to start a war with them
>so unleash spore godzilla

I always get the urge to reinstall until I remember the random events in space stage.

>inb4 mod them out
It doesn't work.
>inb4 ignore them
Why bother terraforming if one random event from half a galaxy away will destroy all your progress and destroy your economy/ecosystem.

compared to nms Spore is a fucking masterpiece

I wondered why people on my friendslist started playing spore
Figured it was some youtuber or some shit
