I'm late to the party but I've just finished Uncharted 4.

What's Sup Forums's opinion on this game?

Second best in the series. Weak third act, though. Also, too much walking segments kill replayability. Multiplayer is god tier so you can always fall back on that.

Good, far from the best on par with Uncharted 1 imo. There isn't a good balance between enemy areas amd downtime. It didn't feel as good as Uncharted 2, which had the perfect balance. Story was okay, I liked Sam, and Rafe. Nadine, was alround meh and served no point her getting the upper hand on nate was acceptable the first time but both seemed streamlined and there was no point in interacting because it was obvious you'd lose. I put down the controller and the fight still played out.

Really enjoyed it and felt it was a fitting end to the series. ND did a great job of it; not entirely sure how the fuck they do some of the stuff they did with the PS4. Those fucking devs are wizards. Legit one of the only inhouse devs which clearly give a shit about the product they're producing.

I know Sup Forums memes on about ND games being movies, but the combat mechanics are excellent. Really polished.

It's fantastic. If you love walking. Climbing by pressing X. Characters talking about the environment. Lack of exploring. Lack of setpieces. Lack of combat.

So if you are an idiot who doesn't actually like playing videogames, you'll love UC4.

It was my first and last Uncharted game. Loved it.
The writing, the landscapes, the mystery and pirate story, the set pieces were all fantastic.

It's a bit smilar to the Yakuza series where the core gameplay mechanics aren't pushing genre but everything else makes it incredibly enjoyable.

You mean it's like an above average Hollywood Action Movie.

It's like you imply if this would be made into a movie, it would have similar success. Same with people thinking the Last of Us had a good story going on.

The Vanishing of Eathan Carter has amazing visuals as well, but I'd play Uncharted over a walking simulator any day.

It's weird that we've coming into an age when Uncharted isn't even a movie game compared to some others. That game and Quantum Break are both actual television shows rather than cinematic games.
