Oi, user.
Can you post a RPG thats not outdated, I can play on the master race PC, have a good combat mechanic so I dont get bored and drop it after the first fight.
Oi, user
Emulate the Wii version of Tales of Graces in Spanish
Bloodborne
...
Emulate Paper Mario TTYD.
Probably the best RPG you can play on PC.
but bloodborne is hack & slash
...
Just post more poptepic.
Fable:TLC
Witcher 3
Risen 1
Gothic 2+NOTR
...
...
...
How about Jrpg, my dudes.
...
Gothic II
...
...
PC is probably the worst platform for JRPGs.
Best I can think of is Disgaea PC.
Or emulate something. Fire Emblem or FF maybe.
Tales!
no bloodborne is an action RPG.
know your genres.
Second this, though maybe a lot of my love for it is nostalgia
RPG can be a pretty wide genre but I like myself some Darkest dungeon. Be warned though, the grind is real.
Dragon's Dogma
Undertale.
Not sure why you care about it being "updated". RPGs always have shitty graphics and the mechanics are generally the same.
If you had to use Bkub's artstyle for a video game what would it be about.
Buy Estelles game!
Trails in the Sky (FC/SC)
Ys Oath in Felghana/Ark of Napishtim/Ys Origin
Grind is what killed it for me, plus waiting for updates got old. Did they ever finish it?
Seconding Dragon's Dogma
Platformer where you have to switch between Popuko/Pipimi to solve puzzles.
It got finished quite a while ago my man. It ends pretty strong, but as you can probably expect the last dungeon will kick your balls in so you gotta rebuild your team again with some of that sweet sweet grind. Didn't stop me from beating it twice though.
>PC is probably the worst platform for JRPGs.
You can emulate every system with the good JRPGs so no, it's by far the best. Not to mention exclusive eroge RPGs. Or just the RPG maker games in general.
And the puzzles make no goddamn sense half the time.
KOTOR?
or as most smart people said: emulation is the key.
>an entire game based around using something like the Bros moves in M&L to solve puzzles
They really should make that happen.
Right after the Pop Team Epic anime.
I know it's going to come, I can feel it.
This is literally the only reason I'm in this thread.
Except emulation is never perfect so you might as well just play in the original console for the best experience.
No eroge RPG is actually good outside of the smut it's conveying. RPG Maker games are almost universally awful outside of Yume Nikki, and whether even that is an RPG is arguable.
yo.
It's almost always better than the original hardware.
>No eroge RPG is actually good outside of the smut it's conveying. RPG Maker games are almost universally awful outside of Yume Nikki, and whether even that is an RPG is arguable.
The salt.
Superstar Saga was a blast.
>Come across an NPC that blocks your path until you answer his series of trivia questions
>Popuko pulls out a meat cleaver and violently clubs him over the head with it
>Mission complete! Reward: 10 Bkub Tokens
>It's almost always better than the original hardware
Very rarely in my experience.
Instead of going "u mad" you could try giving some examples.
did a good job of proving me wrong.
I didn't say you're mad, I said you're salty.
>in my experience
Name 20 JRPGs run by emulators that aren't better than on the original system. I'll wait.
>Very rarely in my experience.
Well that doesn't mean much, considering your experience is nonexistent.
>It's almost always better than the original hardware
You must be talking pre-GC and PS2
Nothing runs better than on the original console but you can definitely rival the original's performance when emulating N64 and PS1
Unfortunately the PS2 is the big JRPG goldmine, and emulating PS2 is mediocre at best and intolerable at worst even with a decent PC
Who is this character?
No, I'm talking about all emulators that actually work. Go ahead and name 0.1% of the JRPGs of all the emulators combined that don't run better on emulators.
I'll wait. Forever, because you will NEVER attempt it. JRPGs 99.9999% of the time run flawlessly and therefore objectively better than on their native consoles.
Funny you mention PS2 too because 100% of the JRPGs on that system have zero issues.
I just started emulating this like 2 days ago.
I fucking love TTYD and SMRPG.
Xenoblade by emulation. Combat might not be what you like, but its a damn good game
This is some pretty impressive delusion.
That PCuck superiority complex is getting to your brain. Stop getting mad at idorts who have more fun than you playing games how they're meant to be played - instead of with missing sound, fucked textures and terrible power efficiency. You've been posting and posting but all you've said so far is "it's better! you can't prove me wrong! the burden of proof is on me but you have to list 48294 games and their specific issues before i concede defeat in this noble internet argument!"
Thanks for proving my point you little bitch. I'll be here emulating everything while you blow on cartridges and put tooth paste on disks. Enjoy your loading screens.
>thread devolves into console war bullshit
I thought this shit was against the rules.
...
savage
>you still haven't met my quota of listed games with serious issues!
When you get to college they'll teach you how burden of proof works, until then you should post on Reddit or Tumblr until you're old enough to post here.
Follow the thread. It's been mentioned several times.

Child of Light is pretty good, if a bit short. Just one thing though,
>uPlay
Play Undertale. It only takes about 5-6 hours to beat for the first time, it has a clever story, the soundtrack kicks ass and the combat mechanic is simple yet with plenty of variety.
If you instead want a true 'high fantasy' RPG that you can really sink your teeth into and waste dozens of hours playing then get your hands on Baldur's Gate 2.
