Remember when Inafune took credit for this guy's creation for 20 years and used that to fund a 4 million dollar kickstarter?

People can barely differentiate between developers and publishers, let alone the names of individuals (unless they're meme famous, like Gaben or Molyneux).

Remember when mega man was relevant

Last time he was relevant was X games on the PS1. Jesus, that's forever ago.

Games after that starred Zero. PS2 onwards X games were pretty much ignored.

Nah Battle Network had much more popularity than the X series ever had so last time Mega Man was relevant was probably 2005 or something.

>gamers confuse devs and publishers, and producers and directors

Gamers are morons. Though I can't blame them. The gaming media is terrible. Most of them start any story about Inafune by saying he is the Mega Man series creator. The coverage of the actual devs and directors is usually pretty spotty. Usually it's the Producers who handle the media and act as the face of the company, while the actual devs toil away in obscurity.

Quick name your favorite game. Can you name the director?

>Quick name your favorite game. Can you name the director
Mario bros.
Miyamoto

Check mate

Daisuke Amaya

>Quick name your favorite game. Can you name the director?
Wait, that's a dumb question. A better one would be, "Can you name the director of the last game you played?"

Shouzou Kaga

FE has been SHIT since he left.

But TearRing Saga was amazing. I hope his new game is good too.

Was Kero Blaster any good?

>people think Kamiya directs every single Platinum game

It was excellent.

le everyone is a hack and didn't actually contribute to what they're known for! hurdurdurdur!!!

Kojima is next.

Ninja Gaiden Black. Director is Oatmeal cookie.

Inafune was:

>artist
>producer
>ceo

That's all he's done. he's not a director, or level designer, and he never made mega man.

The only games he did was Bayonetta 1 and Wonderful 101 also Scalebound

Everything else was from different directors. Fucking Shinji Mikami did Vanquish out of all games

Wow, I can't believe Kamiya was right, when he called Inafune out by saying he wasn't a creator but only a businessman

No he was wrong, Inafune is a shit business man

yes

All chinks look the same, I'd be surprised if they can tell each other apart

Japanese have the most facial variation. They're not pure Asians, but mixed with a few groups.

The characters were unmemorable, the dialogue was weak and it was painfully short.

>he didnt beat Zangyou
>he didnt read the manga

If you haven't beaten the hard mode you simply haven't beaten Kero Blaster. It's the second half of the game. No joke.

did kitamura, even had some sort of influence on capcom at the time, or any legacy of sorts? for example. was he the guy behind the idea of basing megaman off astro boy? inafune seems too broad in what games he was involved with. to be an astro boy fan.

Kitamura directed 1-2. He lists Astro Boy, Casshern, Time Bokan, Kikaider, Kamen Rider, and Ninja Captor as inspirations. Also Roll is based on "Candy Candy". When he left, he told the new director to give Mega Man a robot dog companion, change the items into dog items, and to have a mysterious prototype brother character.

FF pre gay shit.

Sakaguchi.

Am I wrong? Seriously dont know.

Define gay shit. 10 onwards is pretty gay.

Sakaguchi directed 1-5. 6 was directed by Yoshinori Kitase and Hiroyuki Ito while Sakaguchi came up with basic storyline premise.

Yoshinori Kitase directed 7-8 alone. Hiroyuki Ito directed 9.

I didnt mind x because it was my first but past it was gay shit. (Save xi but doesnt count).

Guess I was right though. My favorites were all his.

>Beyond Good and Evil
>Michel Ancel
He is really a genious. Also thank him for Rayman series.
