My asshole from kojima fucking me over?

Yeah I feel it.

metal gear is a bad franchise

Yes.
>Quiet fucking off
>Ending wasnt the cut one
>MGO is unbalanced shit
>barely any story, most of it is retrieval and destruction missions

Played like a damn fiddle / 10

MGS thread?
Cool.
I liked MGSV as a whole. People often forget to factor in Ground Zeroes into the equation.
Also I made a trailer, youtube.com/watch?v=fgrLWyQ45kw

I WILL NEVER NOT BE ANGRY OVER THIS FUCKING GAME
SO MANY HOURS OF MY LIFE DEDICATED TO THIS SHIT
ALL THE THREADS
ALL THE HYPE
YES I STILL FEEL IT AND FUCK YOU FOR ASKING

calm down

The game I lost...
The hype I lost...
They won't stop hurting.
It's like they're all still there.

I went back to play it again, and I'm having fun. The story being shit is almost user issue at this point

that's actually really great

>user issue

Why did he cut out the most kino moments?

Yes

nice

he didn't tho
see: intro to e43

All this does is make me sad. It's like we could have easily been seeing this trailer at E3 and MGSV could be coming out this september, finished..

As someone who is new to the franchise, I was incredibly mixed about this game

The game play was really very good

The story, however, was outstandingly terrible. Having an unskippable hour-long intro, that you have to repeat at the end of the game is fucking stupid. Nearly every choice any character makes is completely illogical. Everything is stupidly over-dramatic. The last mission is just the first mission again. There is no real ending.

9/10 for gameplay
1/10 for everything else

hey, you're pretty good

Timing is wrong sometimes and I would choose a bit different cuts, but overall not bad at all

I enjoyed TPP but it felt rushed at some points. What the fuck was chapter 2

>the American soldiers torturing the guy in the red band trailer is still in the game
>just re-used the animations for it in Where Do The Bees Sleep? when the Russians torture the Hamid guy
Kojima you misleading little shit.

not him but kojima's trailers weren't always in sync with every note in the song either

Only two maps (three if you include the base) and most of them felt just empty as fuck.

The gameplay is thight as fuck, top notch. Wish that a ballon to the belt wouldn't solve every problem in the world.
MGS Peace Walker had great vehicle combat and especially stealthing them was amazing. Wish they would have kept the concept and overworked it.

I've gotten over it because I'm a grown up.

as someone who doesn't think MGS is what Sup Forums makes it out to be, it's not bad at all in any way. But it's not perfect either. I can definetly see why they have rabid fans tho.
Out of all of them I've played tho
>mgs1: still looks good, great ps1 game, until meryl gets captured, then feel feel to drop it as fun ends here.
>Mgs2: Good all the way through.
>mgs3: Potentially the best game but the camera and shitty low resolution of ps2 made it a fucking chore
>GZ: neat but map really needed not to gate off areas of the base or atleast have more interiors than armories and boiler room. It's a small area to begin with. Also doesn't work with keyboard.

Overall a strongly reccomended 7/10 series

My longest running gripe is the controls. When crawling you feel like the contols randomly flip themselves depending on which pixel you're looking at. Extremely shit and frustrating.

something wrong
i shake my head
triple-q gone
a nigga dead

>smug spider
if i search spider on sadpanda will i get sauce?

>Nearly every choice any character makes is completely illogical. Everything is stupidly over-dramatic.
welcome to japan where good, quality writing ended with kurosawa. Japs fucking love having 20 minute long monologues in middle of fight scenes where everyone explains their motives and makes sure not a single metaphor or symbol goes missing from even the dumbest fucking audience member.

>2 months since the Death Stranding trailer
was this on purpose user

...

Gotten over it enough to have uninstalled the game and moved on, but from time to time I can feel it the hope that's never really there. You can feel it too can't you Big user?

Hahaha, NO:

>have had like 24 bucks in my PSN wallet for over a month now
>phantom pain endlessly at 30
>hoping one of these days It'll be in a sale.
>know deep down that its going to be like 4 months before this happens

I really just want to play the game but dont want to drop another 20 bucks on a PSN card knowing I only need 6.

What's wrong?
I see it as an improvement

pls sauce than :(

No.

please!

>begging
>smileys
>tumblr filenames

I take my leave now.

sorry, used google images
also just realized your images were a hint to the character so i'll get lookin

>connect credit / debit / paypal
>add $10
>????
>don't spend more than you need
dummy

>that prerelease hype
>that massive build up to in the last week up to release
>then it happens
>the game gets leaked and/or people get early copies
>they datamine the whole game, plot is revealed
>that massive shitstorm that ensued 4 days before release
>massive disbelief of what the game had in store
>massive denial and absolute fear of it actually being true
>then that silent, creeping feeling after a couple days, that it is actually true
>that absolutely crushing disappointment and feeling of emptiness

The hype for this game was a better experience and had more feelings involved than the whole game.

This

why people are talking about MGS when OP has posted sam fisher

nope, great game.

...

>add $10
he'l have $4 left
>add credit/debit card
thats a good one

you didn't answer

>It's nearly been a year

I played MGSV for the first time in probably 6 months yesterday because it was my birthday and I had to get that sweet birthday celebration from my Diamond Dogs, and ended up playing for a couple hours. If you can divorce yourself from the disappointing story it's really a lot of fun, just a great screwing-around-simulator like Just Cause. Not what I typically ask for out of Metal Gear, but enough time's gone by that I can accept it for what it is.

haha

I get goosebumps and feel depressed whenever I see anything related to MGS.

God damnit. MGS was my favorite series ever but ever since V came out I've been chasing phantoms whether it be buying a ps3 to play the HD Collection or searching through theory upon theory trying to prove to myself that the game wasn't supposed to be like this.

Why are we still here? Just to suffer?
