Terrible game. Was decent at season 2 and 3, but it has become unplayable with later patches.

Don't say anything along the lines of "gg ez", "reported", or basically anything bad to the other player. You'll get either muted for couple days or perm banned. The admins in this game takes things up the ass easily, so does its player base.

I uninstalled this game after a few patches. It's just too stale and boring at this point. Also the Riot's employees are trigger happy. Anything that triggers the other person is a bannable offense. You literally cannot bm, you cannot say anything about transgendered mentally ill people, or just say autism. I got muted for 30 days for asking about how it feels to be transgendered since the transgendered person was going around saying it got an operation done.

"heroes" in league are not like in dota.
they are interchangeable. theres 3 majore archetypes and all of the champs fit into one role.
there are no specialized heroes and none of the champs have specific progression over a game.
all start out weak and snowball into lategame.

People hate assassins like zed, etc.
Morganna's across map stun can still stun you for 3 hours, lux can still stun you forever, etc.

If you've played Dota already, there's no reason to play this trash.

Talon is complete ass compared to the other assassins though in terms of mobility and hell everything.

My three favorite League characters are Fiora, Taric, and Swain. I now only have Swain. I hate what they did with Fiora and Taric. And no I don't give a fuck about competitive play and who does and does not get picked in tournaments.

I'm always afraid to enjoy characters in League because of this. I know that they'll just get streamlined eventually.

League will never be a good competitive game because it refuses to allow for multiple kinds of play in it. Silences get removed, moves like Fiora's ult get removed, and from the looks of things stealth is going to get changed too. The way the game is designed makes almost everything but pure burst or tankiness worthless.

Riot can only think in terms of roles. It's why for example the ADC role is usually just two characters: the character you want and the character you grab if they got the character you wanted. Each role is so normalized that it becomes crystal clear which is the absolute best for every situation.

Riot also hates situational picks. They want characters to be good in every situation or bad in every situation. The community complains when a character has unique abilities or is only used for counterpicking so Riot normalizes these characters and removes anything unique about them.

Companies like Riot think that a character is only well done if they have a 50% win rate and are picked frequently. They don't understand the concept of situational or that certain characters aren't popular simply because people don't care about that character.

I was in Diamond 4 when I quit.

I had a Riot employee in my game that went 0/9 and would randomly go afk for a few seconds every minute or so.

His duo butt buddy was also feeding just as hard and wouldn't stop spamming reddit tier shit in all chat. I told him to stop being a faggot and play normal games if he wanted to be retard.

They gave me a week long ban from that and a chat restriction.

This was after I lost my D3 promos 4 times because of nearly identical shit like this.

Look at Dota. The lane that has the hard carry in it can have so many different combinations of characters and types of characters too.

Also in your list most of those characters fall off late compared to melee carries in Dota.

I liked her a lot, in part because her ult was like Juggernaut's Omnislash and he was always one of my favorite heroes to use in Dota.

She was a situational pick that could get out of hand really quickly if you got early game kills. Depending on the matchup she could completely wreck you in lane and then roam gank whenever her ult was up. Her kit was also a lot of fun to use. Double stab and the riposte let you do a lot of different things.

Seriously though the change in her ult is so retarded. Her ult was really unique and was the defining element to the character. She was similar to a Dota character in that regard. Now they added a shitty minigame to her and changed her ult.

She's probably more solid overall than before, but that doesn't have to be a good thing. There's no real reason why they couldn't have kept old Fiora and made a new character with the new one's moveset.

This is the flaw to every Riot redesign. Look at Sion. There is nothing even recognizable about new Sion for the most part. There's no reason why both can't exist. Every now and then I would see someone pick Sion and do well with him back before the rework. For those people that liked Old Sion removing him is unneeded.

There's nothing wrong with having underused or underpowered characters. If they want to rework them, make a new character. If they want to change them to make them better, then do it while retaining the essence of the character.

Is Singed any good now? I think it's been about 3 years since I've played but I'll pick it up again if I can just have fun with Singed.

I'm not saying people don't like new Sion or that it's wrong to. I'm saying there's no reason why that character has to be Sion instead of just a new character.

When you just remove the character and add the new one, you get situations like how I feel about Fiora and Taric. Two of my three mains were removed and replaced by characters that don't appeal to me. This completely killed my interest in the game and I stopped playing for about two years because of it.

Specifically if he flips you into the pool he placed on the ground then it roots you. He'll always be a situational pickup unless they retool him. I've actually seen him going support work especially against non aggressive lanes.

Proxy Singed seems to be the ideal way to play him. Just don't be surprised if you get banned for doing it even though it's a legit way to play the game.

Do people legitimately actually still play League? I haven't touched it since S3. Riot lacked direction as a company and they didn't understand their own game, which seemed to get shittier as time went on.

i quit league, simply because i hate the fucking characters that have been updated. I'll name a few
1. Poppy. An AP assassin that could dish out the hurt and was one of the only AP carries that would benefit from buying an infinity edge, turned into a shitty tank that is definately nowhere near the same style
2. Ryze. Sure say what you want about the rework, but i liked his ability to fuck things up with the CDR on all his skills, also they renoved his joke and his model is rather shitty
And finally, riots most stupid mistake

3. Xerath, the greatest guy in the game, rewarded skillshots and poke with range and damage, but was very poor in HP and defense. And would fall over to a light breeze. What did riot do? Turned him into yet another poke mage without his range increase, also they made everything about him shit

Millions of people still play it everyday yes. It's still the top game or in the top three most viewed games on Twitch at all times. It still makes Riot insane amounts of money.

It's like asking if people still play WoW. Not as much as before, but it still prints money and is consumed by a shit ton of people.
