this place is shit because of shitposters like you

Its fine. Play it once, you are done

2>1>4>3
Just play the second one and dont touch anything else.

>STOP LIKING WHAT I DONT LIKE!

Gee OP how come your mom lets you suck two dicks?

>1>4

lol

uncharted 1 & 2 were fun. never liked 3 and i have never played 4

Shooters with regenerating health are shit by default.

The majority of Sup Forums are teenagers who started playing games in the 7th gen though, so bad taste is endemic.

So was the train sequence in 2 supposed to be well designed?

It looked cool but played like complete dogshit.

The entire gameplay for all 4 games is nearly the exact same.
The gameplay consists of hiding behind cover with regenerating health auto aiming at the same few enemy types followed by horribly designed padding involving "platforming" of spamming a button and a direction.
There are flash games deeper than this.
>B-But muh cinematic experience

>auto aiming

What? Not one of them had auto aiming.

Why do people like 2 so much? I just played through the Uncharted Collection and I had the most fun with 3. Maybe its because I just like the running around solving puzzles more than anything else. All the melee segments are shit though.

git gud lmao

Anyone find the gunfights pretty hard in the later sections of 1 and 2?

I only played on hard and got my ass kicked. I can't even imagine how it is on crushing or brutal.

They all do faggot.
All of the uncharted games have aim assist

You're a fucking piece of shit if you think good games are bad.

2>4>3>1

As far as I know, the ps3 originals had much more varied mechanics between the three. Apparently the gun handling was changed for the worse in 3.

I've only played the remastered collection and I agree that 3 was a blast. Some really nicely designed encounters. Everything from the pirate flotilla onwards is full on action.

>regenerating health

Complete shit.

>muh muh Naughty god

What? I played them all on PS2 and PS4 and they didn't have auto aim?

Isn't it an option? Which means you fucking used it, you casual piece of shit.

This

2 was a fantastic game, everything else ranges from ok to meh

using auto aim how bad are you

Off the top of my head 2 had:

Better pacing overall
Better hit reactions from enemies
Well designed encounters

3 fucked up the melee and beating up anyone took forever. Also same button for roll and throw was fucking retarded and screwed you up most of the time. Enemies reacted seldomly from being shot. Some questionable encounter design that forced you to remember enemy spawns. I've completed 3 at least 4 times and the ship ballroom battle still gives me trouble.

Only if you have it enabled you fucking casual scrub, turn that shit off if you're gonna complain about it

>PS2

IMHO

4>3>2>power gap>1

you sound so fucking stupid

Tried a bit of 3, Instantly turned it off when I tried punching a guy and I "hit" him without the fist connecting anywhere close.

I liked all five games, why no one ever mentions the Vita one?

2 >> 4 > 3 >> GA >

>Defends uncharted
>Calls others casual
jej

You heard me, my dad worked at Sony, and my mom at Naughty Dog.

Which reminds me I still gotta play all those PS2 Tomb Raiders except AoD obviously

Amazing argument from someone who totally isn't butthurt people don't like his casual trash.

Daily reminder that the Uncharted series is so bad literal retards like it.

gamespot.com/articles/uncharted-4s-accessibility-options-inspired-by-inp/1100-6439983/

The pacing for 3 felt really weird. Characters like Chloe and Cutter just disappeared after a certain point and were never mentioned or seen again. The first half of the game was littered with puzzles while the 2nd half (chapter 12 and onwards) had literally zero puzzles whatsoever

There were those spiders that appeared during the earlier chapters and then just kind of vanished after a certain point. It's never explained what they are or what their purpose is. Then there's the entire ship graveyard part which lasts for 4 chapters and contributes absolutely nothing to the plot whatsoever. That combined with a bunch of weird technical issues I came across like Cutter pushing me out of the map during his fight sequence made it feel like the least polished game in the series, even more so than the first game.

Uncharted is objectively shit.

If you are ok with shit gameplay for decent writing than you should read a book you stupid nigger and learn to read.

But there's literally nothing wrong with Uncharted. They're all perfectly decent games.

Will there be an Uncharted 5?

A Drake Jr loli-charted maybe?

Who hurt you user?

Not him, but nice counter-argument

>there's literally nothing wrong with Uncharted

It's not Japanese.

>helping the mentally handicapped is bad

2 is objectively good

>Both are 2007 tech demo games for their respective system

>J-JUST WATCH A MOVIE
>J-JUST READ A BOOK
>D-D-DO ANYTHING AND GET OUT OF M-MY HOBBY
lmao no you pathetic virgin, and I'm happy games are becoming more and more story based, you "GAMEPLAAYYYY" fags need to be killed asap

Why bother when the Uncharted fanbase is already mentally handicapped?

Go back to neofag nygger.

>STOP LIKING WHAT I DONT LIKE!
What a stupid comment, it says nothing, it's a brain dead comment.
I could just easily throw that back at you.
>STOP HATING WHAT I LIKE!
See how pointless that is?

but crysis has actual gameplay and replayability
theres different ways to tackle situations

>See how pointless that is?

Just as OP making a thread about a videogame he didn't like?

Plot tweeeest: OP loves the Uncharted series and know that you have to be a contrarian on Sup Forums to make a thread have replies.

The amazing thing about this thread is that you can clearly tell which posts are the OP's

*claps*
have you done anything with your life other than try to be funny on Sup Forums???

Uncharted 2 is a legitimately good TPS. It may not quite be on the level of Max Payne or Vanquish, but it does have perhaps the best level/environment design to be found in the genre.

The games do get more difficult than I would have expected given all of the "moviegame" criticisms, at least.

Holding it up to the light was a neat little gimmick.

2 = 4 > GA > 3 > 1
I didn't really like 3, there was like 1 good scene with the desert and the plane but the rest was meh tier.
Still better than 1 tho.

Not even the burning castle or sinking ship or eclipse segment?
faget

>Id rather hate a video game and feel like shit than ignore it and focus on things I like

It has horrible dumbed down gameplay that even COD surpasses. Of course a casual can't see that.

Point them out user.

>I would rather buy a shit game and defend it online than play good ones instead

They're pretty bad, they're only noteworthy for their (pretty amazing) technical achievements and get praise for their fantastic animation work that makes it feel like a blockbuster movie. Gameplay-wise they're not good, but then again I haven't played 4.

No, you stupid retard, my point was that that is not an actual defense nor argument, if you want to defend your stance then actually defend it, instead of speaking without saying anything.
I also said nothing about the quality of the game but only about your comment, so I don't know why you assumed something I didn't mention.
When I said brain dead I was being facetious, but there you are.

no. i just play good games and ignore shit games.
check mate, autist

Crushing on Uncharted 1 is fucking ridiculous since all enemies during the early chapters are laser accurate with the shitty guns that are supposed to have terrible accuracy, and they all have more health than you do. It shockingly becomes easier during the 2nd half of the game when you finally get weapons that can actually hit shit and do decent damage.

Crushing in Uncharted 2 is actually a pretty fun challenge, and the same goes for 4. Never tried crushing on 3.

autists like him literally think that if you're talking about a game online, that you MUST be defending it to the death or you MUST be hating it to the extremes.
They lack the ability to just fucking discuss shit.

3>2>4>1
I really liked the characters in theses games.
especially nate and sully

Then why are you so mad people are insulting a bad game online?

i literally made a thread like a week ago shitting on uncharted 1. the last time i dropped a game this hard was dragon age origins,
it's just honestly so badly balanced that i didn't feel like sticking through it. shit reticle, ridiculous enemy dodging AI, story was probably the only okay thing but it wasn't good enough to keep me playing.

i'm just happy i'll be able to sell it for around $20 to recoup some money on my ps4 purchase.

no one liked uncharted 1

Uncharted 2 isn't better. It just has more explosions and cinematic events to cover up how shit the gameplay is.

You're comparing a military FPS to a third person shooter. I wonder if you can even tell how retarded you seem.

I like them. They're fun.

I just finished 2 and I honestly can't remember the last time I played a game this boring. It wasn't bad by any account, and I actually enjoyed some of the platforming sections, but nothing about it was noteworthy. Nothing, be it the story, characters, gameplay, or atmosphere pulled me into the game's world. Gameplay wasn't necessarily bad or terribly uninteractive like some people say, but it was just kinda there. Like they came up everything else in the game and then decided it was time to throw a TPS in there. The story was a complete retread of the first game's, except somehow less interesting. Characters have good moment to moment dialogue and great voice acting, however their actions and characterization rarely match up. Ultimately, my biggest irk is how much the gameplay is at odds with the story they are seemingly trying to tell. Even if you're going for the whole story heavy "cinematic experience" thing, the small amount of gameplay you do have should still reinforce the experience you're going for.

...

it's only because the reaction is always hyperbolic as fuck on this board, so when a few years have passed and people remember these decent games actually dare to mention them in a context that isn't SONYGGER MOVIE GAME.

First one is legit a bad game though. 2&3 are okay. 6-7/10 dumb fun action games.

>I can't compare depth because they are different genres
Are you retarded or just pretending to be?

Nigga more like
4>2>3>1

You're just getting old

was last of us remastered better?

>game series
>gameplay is the same
.........Yeah?

Man, somehow you're using the basic vernacular of everyone here but making it sound a million times stupider than when everyone else uses it. I don't even know how. It's almost magical

Most decent series manage to change and update the games.

give me the example of your "most"

Like?

That's not a valid complaint, it just reeks of unsubstantiated bias.

>A game being repetitive and not updating isn't a valid complaint
Are you stupid?

In what sense? As a game or as a remaster?

Sure, I will use sony games just as an example
>Metal gear
>Twisted metal
>Tomb raider
>GTA
>Silent hill
Just off the top of my head.

Right, just like Half-Life, Halo, Gears of War, Ratchet & Clank, FEAR, Resistance, Counter-Strike, and Call of Duty all have drastically different gameplay styles between individual entries. Oh, wait, they don't?

>Tomb Raider
>GTA
>silent hill
>change and update the games
nigga what?

I agree with you. I've always thought 3 was the weakest of the series story wise and you have summed it up perfectly. It had atrocious pacing.

>Half-life
>FEAR
Are you retarded. Hl1 and 2 are very different.
Same with FEAR.
Are you trolling?
Compare GTA 2 and 3 you stupid casual.

>isn't better
but it objectively is you inbred mongrel :)

>Compare GTA 2 and 3
Good. Now compare GTA 3, Vice City, San Andreas, IV, and V.

Compare GTA3, GTAVC, GTASA, GTALCS, GTAVCS, GTA4, GTAEFLC, and GTA5 and then tell me they change the gameplay.

GTA 3 and 4 are very different.
Completely different driving systems and shooting systems.
Thank you for letting everyone know you are underage.

>GTA5 compared to 3
>Regenerating health
>Cover system
>New driving system
>Mission system different too
>Play as 3 different people instead of 1 and can switch between them

GTA3 and 4 are more different from each other than Uncharted 1 and 4 are from each other.

How so? They both refined the original mechanics and technology and changed a few arbitrary mechanics, which didn't change the gameplay in any significant way. This is what always happens with a formula that is successful.

>Regenerating health and cover systems don't change the gameplay in a meaningful way
It completely changes how the gunplay is.
And the differences between gta2 and 3 are like night and day.

>these two games with roughly the same sense of progression, same gameplay goals, in the same setting are definitely super different because the shootin' and drivin' mechanics have been updated.

This still doesn't excuse the fact that All of the Tomb Raiders up to Angel of Darkness are samey, the fact that FEAR, its expansions, and even 2 are all similar, and that GTA 3, VC, SA, and the Stories are effectively expansion packs to one another.

You probably could have picked some better series to name. Like Dark Souls, or Torchlight, or Portal. Maybe not, actually.

You could take cover in the previous GTA games as well. You just had to manually move in and out of cover instead of having a dedicated button to stick to a wall and pop out. Regenerating health didn't really affect GTA since your health didn't heal completely and GTA games are easy enough that health should never be an issue, hence arbitrary.

And yes, there is a huge difference between gta2 and 3, but since they hit big with GTA3, GTA has hardly changed.
