No Man's fags will try to defend this

when a 10 dollar game from burger king has more depth then a 60 dollar game there is a problem.

>Gone Home got 10/10
>Shitfez got 10/10
>Shovelware Knight got 10/10
>New White Male Sky 6/10

Why?

IGN is bipolar in trying to appeal to the hipster SJW crowd on the one hand, the cool kids gamer crowd on the other. They played a large part to popularize the "Sonic was never good" trend in the mainstream for example.

...

It's still to high.
>negative as fuck
>still above average score
I hate reviewers.
>good for what you pay for
It's as expensive as a AAA game.

No Mans Sky wasnt pretentious enough and didnt have a story of two aliens running away to escape persecution for totally different species fucking.

I'm having fun playing No Man's Sky.

Fuck you all.

Exclusive footage of NMS devs in response to these developments

So it's okay to post IGN scores when they fit your agenda? If you agree with this, then you agree that TLoU is a 10/10 and the baby game is better than Godhand.

>10 dollar game from burger king
which one?

Daiy reminder that sony saw this and said "This represents us"

>good for what you pay for

That's for the Burger King game which was only a few bucks

Pssh. Is Sup Forums still up in arms about that? Have you ever considered that maybe, Gone Home was a pretty good game? Even if you didn't like it doesn't mean millions of other people didn't.

I'm about 17 hours in and I have to level with you. after 7 atlas space stations and gaining 7 atlas stones as a result I feel like I've gotten nowhere. the planets are still all barren hellholes and I have no atlas pass, no ship with black sails that can outrun the interceptor with a crew so damned that hell itself spat it back out. I keep getting the same ass schematics and even after all of this my inventory is tiny, my suit life support is still low on 75% and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong when I swear to God every dam schematic is just pot luck. warp fuel is a pain to make and so is everything else. I gave myself 18 quintillion dollars in cheat engine and all the ships I can buy are worse than the one I have. might as well just give myself infinite warp fuel and see what's at the end of this fucking abysmal mess. God fucking damnit.

People say this game is relaxing. the game is slow and purposefully wastes my time in an effort to hide that its just spreading out what little it has.

It's not the type of game you play to get to the end. It's about the journey, not the destination. If you're not having fun playing it then it's just not for you.

>They played a large part to popularize the "Sonic was never good" trend
That's not wrong though. Are you sure they should get the credit for this?

Still twice as good as Godhand fambamthankyoumam

>falling for the Godhand meme
lel

>impressive for what your paying

what? it was full rrp wasnt it?

makes no difference where I am, or where I'm going each planet is a desolate hellhole. Even jungle planets are desolate as fuck.
I've seen the same plant a million times and scanned it is about as much of a journey was walking through an aquarium.

And also fuck you it's not about getting to the end. there's a yellow line pointing me to the end with a number indicating distance. I can make it my objective of I so wish considering my only other options are stand on a planet listening to my life support status or follow the atlas path which just repeats itself over and over untill you have no more room for atlas stones. I need an end goal here. I didn't pay nothing just to stand around and look at plutonium.

So I guess you also just do the main quests in games and that's it?

See, you keep worrying about the planets but you're not enjoying the journey.

The journey doesn't mean shit if it can be replaced with a postcard.

>impressive for what you're paying
>60$
what?
there's a lot of things that spring into my mind when I think "impressive graphics for 60$" but NMS shitty graphics saved only by colorful palette isn't that

wait a damn minute

...

It is wrong though. Just because you are easily influenced by internet personalities does not make what they say facts.

Reviewer tilt.

The IGN "What Our Scores Mean" page explicit states that it's not an average.

Sometimes games are greater than their parts---like Sneak King apparently.

Because IGN has multiple reviews wh all have different preferences from one another.

>poor for an Xbox 360 game, but impressive for what you're paying
???

Still baffling to see most of the green scores to simply shrug off all the negative with "it doesn't count". I mean, those people gave splatoon 60 and 70's for not having voice chat, but NMS not having a promised multi is literally ignored.

NMS doesn't have any worthwhile emotional story to tell.
