Baldurs Gate 2 > Mass Effect > Baldurs Gate >Neverwinter Nights > Kotor > Dragon age: Origins > Mass Effect 2 > Mass Effect 3 > Dragon Age 2 > Dragon Age Inquisition
So this is pretty much accurate right?
Baldurs Gate 2 > Mass Effect > Baldurs Gate >Neverwinter Nights > Kotor > Dragon age: Origins > Mass Effect 2 > Mass Effect 3 > Dragon Age 2 > Dragon Age Inquisition
So this is pretty much accurate right?

Nwn is not a regular game.
>Neverwinter Nights
What's the appeal of this game? It looks like horseshit, i can't bear myself to play it because i don't like looking at shit
You're completely, utterly wrong.
>What's the appeal of this game? It looks like horseshit, i can't bear myself to play it because i don't like looking at shit
Easy for people to build modules, either for multiplayer servers or custom story modules.
Post your own order then dickweed
>DA2
>better then anything
Inquisitions flaw was there was a ton to do but none of it felt like there was any weight to it. The player was given few reasons to care, I call it aggressively mediocre.
2 was just plain bad, from every standpoint.
I would put Dragon Age: Origins at the top, and NWN afterwards, followed by the Baldur's Gates and Kotor. All three Mass Effect games were entertaining but missed the mark in one way or another. DA2 and Inquisition doesn't even deserve to be mentioned.
At least we can all agree that bioware made more good games than highly praised obsidian.
It's almost pointless, though, and it's certainly inane. Besides having completely forgotten Jade Empire, there are so many different genres and properties that without specifying what you're actually comparing it's entirely subjective. Even going by some generic measure of 'quality', how would you compare something like Baldurs Gate (great for its time but lacking pretty much all of the character people remember the series for) with KotOR (one of the best Star Wars games ever made)? Or KotOR and the engine it was on with, say, Mass Effect 2?
>2 was just plain bad, from every standpoint.
Not if you enjoy fun user
>At least we can all agree that bioware made more good games than highly praised obsidian.
Get out of here, Biodrone. Every Obsidian counterpart to a Bioware game is far better.
Obsidian has nothing to do with this you autist.
BG2 > NWN > BG > Kotor > Jade Empire > DA:O > ME > all the other bullshit they made
>Jade Empire and KotOR worse than Baldurs Gate and NWN
Why?
Actually not bait, I'm curious
Multiplayer and... no, that's it.
To be honest. it's probably just nostalgia on my part.
>forgetting Jade Empire which is easily top 5 Bioware
you're garbage, OP
Forgot custom modules, user.
Fair enough, I was just wondering. I love both but came to NWN and especially Baldur's Gate late, so I was thinking it might be nostalgia making me think the way I do.
If you swap neverwinter with kotor we have a deal.
I would also argue ME3 belongs at the bottom of the barrel but it doesn't really matter. Everything on the second half of your list is just a different shade of shit anyway.
Don't know what you and these other dudes are talking about...started playing it a couple of weeks ago and I'm digging it. Just finished the first chapter.
Though I feel kind of gimped playing as a ranger, archery feels a tad bit underpowered.
It's true that it aged like milk. It looks like absolute dogshit by today's standards and it wasn't impressive back then either.
But the gameplay back then was great, and the playermade custom modules made it even better
Tbh whenever I play old classics I find that I get used to the graphics pretty quickly
Gameplay & Immersion >>> Graphics
Normally I agree.
Then I tried deus ex. The graphics really annoyed the shit out of me so much it caused me to drop the game.
Shame too, I probably would have really liked it.
I dropped it too, but more because the gunplay and movement felt really clunky.
You would rate DA2 over DA:I?
truth and wisdom, more like.
How is it not a "regular" game, whatever that even means?
> KotOR (one of the best Star Wars games ever made)?
Also one of the most basic games made by bioware that really does nothing for people who don´t specifically like star wars, ergo, one of the most overrated bioware RPGs.
Jade empire is a shoddy mess of jumbled and unfinished ideas with a lackluster story to top it off.
Bethesda > Bioware
Your taste is fucking terrible, casual ADHD children like you are why video games are so shit now.
BG2 > BG > DAO > NWN > KOTOR = JE > ME2 > ME > DA2 > ME3 = DAI
>Also one of the most basic games made by bioware that really does nothing for people who don´t specifically like star wars, ergo, one of the most overrated bioware RPGs
You'd have it below Baldur's Gate? Above the original fucking Neverwinter Nights?
I ask again,
First BG is an excellent low-level adventure with a lot of exploration and without some annoying traits of later Bioware like half-assed shitty romance subplots shoehorned into the games or linear, limited story progression that can lock you from a majority of previous locations. I certainly love it way more than kotor or jade empire. NwN had fun multiplayer. Both of those left far better impression than JE and especially kotor as i'm not a fan of star wars.
Thanks for the actual response, user
Sorry I don't have time to type one of my own, since it just comes down to personal taste anyway
Obsidian made Mask of the Betrayer. Just for that game alone they are infinitely superior to Bioware.
>DA:Origins above anything that isnt DA
origins is one of the best games bioware ever did even counting obvious problems like horrible itemization
inquisition wasn't great but there is no way it's worse than DA2
It was boring and had horrible art style making it unappealing to look at.
DA2 at least had excellent ideas like rivalry system
It also had sarcastic Hawke
DAI has fucking NOTHING, it's the blandest, most atrocious single player MMO experience i ever witnessed with even more streamlined combat mechanics and build variety than in DA2.
yeah having a shitload of cool origins and ability to play like a total backstabbing cunt at all times was really boring
Yeah it is cool, I wish the game had all that.
it actually has
The origins are a chore to play through and ultimately dont even matter.
The ability to be a backstabbing cunt is heavily based on the fact that people you meet are trusting gullible idiots for no reason. Like the MC who joined the Grey Wardens.
Like you who defends DA:I
Dragon Age 2 is far better than Inquisition.
At least you can actually be a bastard/sarcastic prick, at least it has some side quests that are actually remotely interesting and at least the combat is still slightly good.
It's a bit of a trainwreck rollercoaster but I'd rather experience that than 50 hours of thoroughly boring, bland and mediocre gameplay.
BG2 > NWN > BG > shit > everythign else
NWN1 is only good because of the custom modules, hard game to rate tbqh.
ME1 is an overrated piece of shit though.
HotU was good
inquisition is better than DA 2
jade empire goes after ME2
otherwise solid list
>horrible art style making it unappealing to look at.
it's called low fantasy. it's very similar to witcher
