>Devil's Third, which is garbage Stop reading here.
For Wii U and PC owners this generation hella good on cuhrazee games.
Robert Torres
I've got W101 so i got my dose of delicious action for this gen.
Michael Hernandez
>Anyone else miss curazy games? No because they keep coming out in Japan every week you fucking western fat fuck.
If you really were a fan of "LE EBIN CUHRAZYYYYYY GAEEYYMMSS" you would know that there is a fuckton of them, for example Touhou. There's new ones all the time.
Jaxon Wilson
Itsuno is working on something, he announced it on twitter at the start of the year
It could be Deep Down since Capcom has the rights to the name until February next year and it's supposed to be their next swan song IP
Ian White
Which Touhou fangames?
Elijah Evans
>For Wii U and PC owners this generation hella good on cuhrazee games.
Such as?
Jason Bailey
Best version of Ninja Gaiden 3 Wonderful 101 Bayonetta 1 + 2 Devil's 3rd MGR and Transformers on PC NieR 2 and Scalebound soon
Isaac Hernandez
NG3 just isn't very good no matter which version it is. Rest of the list is fine though but Devil's 3rd didn't click with me either
Wyatt Clark
Scalebound looks like fucking garbage. Nier 2 isn't crazy (Nier certainly wasn't). Devil's 3rd sucks. Bayonetta is old, as is Ninja Gaiden 3 (only razors edge is good, base 3 is shit), and W101.
Austin Roberts
Well since you're some kind of guru on Devil's Third, is it worth it to get now? Did the multiplayer being stillborn affect the overall value too much?
Nicholas Wright
Itagaki and Valhalla have signed a deal with some Korean MMO and mobile company. Basically, looks like it's the end of him.
Kamiya says that he'd like to do Bayo 3 after Scalebound's all done.
Also Hayashi said that TN are down with the idea of NG4 after they're done with Nioh.
Deep Down (Which was only ever a working title) is still on, according to both Ono and Yoshida, albeit "being heavily reworked". Now, whether or not they were telling the truth, that's a story for another day. There's rumblings that it's due to be rerevealed alongside the NEO next month, but I don't know how substantial they are.
Jack Evans
I miss when they were just called action games and aren't made up of autists with daddy issues spouting CUHRAZUHYYYY XDDD and UNCLE DONTE XDD and ROOLS OF NURTURE XDDD
But to answer your question, it's been homogenized due to Platinum becoming the go-to dev, so majority of the games feel exactly the same.
Also Kamiya didn't direct Bayo 2, only produce. W101 is better and should be recognized.
Caleb Martin
Devils 3rd is in no way cuhrazy and is also shit, and Bayonetta 2 was mediocre as fuck.
Scalebound is also looking to be a standard ARPG rather than cuhrazy
Angel James
Scalebound is an action RPG, not a pure action game. I don't know why you keep bringing it up.
Colton Robinson
Alot of those games are on other consoles so I don't why you just said Wii U + PC.
The best version of NG3 is still the shittiest NG. Devil's Third is complete fucking shit and you have to be a cockgobbler to actually enjoy it.
Scalebound looks terrible too. The gameplay video where they all fight the boss looks incredibly slow.
Josiah Perez
WOnderfull 101 and Bayo 1-2 for the WiiU part, PC for the rest
Call me a fucking shill or whatever, man, but this game needs to be recognized.
Jonathan Hall
W101 is unironically Platinum's best game, in terms of grandeur and story and also a very solidly designed action game
Bayo 2 doesn't quite reach the heights of Bayo 1 and W101 but is still is heads and shoulders above any other action game released this gen (that is if there WAS any competition because sure as fuck western studio aren't even trying)
Noah Barnes
I can't for the life of me replay Bayo 1. Then again I stopped playing 2 entirely after unlocking Rodin.
Austin Perry
I don't know why so many people like W101, the game has a shitload of QTEs. In fact Platinum games have way too much fucking QTEs, I don't know why people obsess over them. If we could just go back to the good old DMC days I'd be happy.
Nothing has yet to surpass DMC3.
Joseph Hill
>is it worth it to get now? Did the multiplayer being stillborn affect the overall value too much? I got it for story mode. Multiplayer part is ok, but forgettable due to lack of the players online.
>Devil's 3rd sucks.
>Devil's Third is complete fucking shit Did you actually played it? If you heard from someone that this game is bad your opinion is irrelevant.
Isaiah Clark
Because you have no reading comprehension. Dumbass.
Jaxson Butler
>IT has QTE so it's shit
You know it's possible to use those well, right?
They act as tutorials when you get new forms, they are perfectly fine finisher for bosses and they are easy enough that they don't impede progress ( outside of a loss of rank for the mission). Fuck, every single one of them got a fail effect that can be fuckign hilarious.
AND, most importantly, they are not every 10 sec. Just a bit of extra spice once in a while rather than replacing gameplay
Ethan Brown
Been trying to find technical games myself. I've always said dishonored was good and it can be pretty technical if you can get over the fact that enemies die in 1-3 hits.
Alien vs predator arcade by capcom is a great beat em up and if you pick the girl character, which i am sure you faggots do, you can do some crazy shit that is only possible when you look at the subtle things and be creative with them.
Odin sphere is also pretty damn good as well as technical.
FFXV is also coming and while its likely not going to be super technical its still more technical than 90% of games out there, which isn't very hard, granted.
I think my point is that there are games ready to be cracked open everywhere and i'm having a blast everytime i play video games and im sad that i dont get to share my enthusiasm with people because technical gameplay is only valid when you have a style bar or super hard ninjadicks AI
Jack Gray
>Scalebound looks like shit because it's not CRAZYYYYYY >but it's not supposed to be one? >LOL SHUT UP U IDORT
Matthew Thomas
I got interested in that game based on premise "Devil May Cry + roguelike"
I pirated the game because it had no demo to try it out
Apparently creators meant "DmC + roguelike" not Devil May Cry.
It has:
* DmC's stupid weapon switching put on both triggers/bumpers (which is a waste of controller button space) * DmC's launcher/helm breaker put on B button. * DmC's lack of lock-on
In fact it is an even worse game than DmC because it shows even worse knowledge of action fundamentals than Ninja Theory. Camera AI is non-existent, movement is also bad.
(regular, starting) Enemies don't react to getting hit. At all. This is a complete illiteracy in how action games are to be designed.
There is no fundamental that this game hasn't done wrong.
Justin Stewart
Dmc3 was shit when it came out due to the lack of style switching. It was an unacceptable design choice that i never got over from the moment it was released.
Brody Green
Thanks. Saves me the time and money.
Samuel Hall
How fucking dense can you be? I'm talking about CRAZY games. Of fucking course I don't give a shit about Scalebound. Jesus you're an idiot. Also it looks shitty as an action rpg.
Dylan Bennett
I feel you OP. It's weird that one of the few cuhrazy games announced this gen is an indie game being developed by just one guy.
Fuck off shill. The dev already said that the game doesnt play like you would expect it to meaning its fullly automatic shite.
Brody Lewis
We Cuhrazy bros have been left in the dust. Fucking Normies can't into cuhrazy game. So the market is over-saturated with generic run of the mill FPS and Zombie games.
Feelsbadman
It's NOT a cuhrazy world we live in unfortunately.
Carter Watson
Never change Sup Forums never change
Blake Davis
Why dont you tweet him yourself and ask him about the control scheme? Do it. Then come back with proof that this game is relevant. Im not even talking about arbitrary shit like a point system for varied combos. Im talking about it having more creative freedom than NG
Evan Howard
I hope Konami has the sense to let Platinum make MGR2
Cameron Sullivan
Itsuno confirmed he's working on new project on new year and recently encouraged people on the Internet to show interest in new Rival Schools
Chase Williams
New project or dmc5 new project?
Parker Phillips
>ywn never live in a cuhrazy world >have to live in a boring unSSStylish world instead
I remember gymclasses in HS where I made cringy DMC one-liners while playing one man tag against the entire class.
Any indies making cuhrazy vidya currently?
Brody Stewart
>Rival Schools Fighting games aren't crazy...
Daniel Hill
Cuhrayzee is dead. All we can do is find games that are interesting enough to play for the more developed action game fan
James Walker
Will we ever get another Max Anarchy style mash up of cuh-razy games?
I need Bayonetta/Vanquish/Ninja Gaiden/MadWorld/Dante musou action.
Adam Jenkins
New project which could mean DMC5, DD2 or maybe something new. It's more like he's doing "new project" but would like to make Rival Schools at some time, maybe after said project. Why would he ask for sudden interest in the series in the middle of project? Announcement trailer would do as much. He probably wants Capcom to see there are old series they can do.
Jonathan Rodriguez
Nier Automata looks just like Metal Gear Rising.
Dominic Gutierrez
>point system for varied combos. which doesn't even matter that much.
Only DMC3/4 have that system, none of the Kamiya's, Mikami's and Itagaki's games have it
Wyatt Perry
New generation of video gamers don't want curazy.
Th3y want virginal giant titted protagonists being angsty and showing cleavage and pussy.
