FFIX was the real Final Fantasy for Sakaguchi had to leave the company soon after because of the massive mistake that was Spirits Within.

And FF IX is truly a masterpiece and a really great callback to the old titles.

That webm is from the Xbox version. I dont have a full comparisson but from what I have gathered and seen, the Xbox version appears to be gimped, intentionally I might add. Just like how Bethesda is in bed with Microsoft and is artifically keeping F4 mods off the PS4, square seems to be taking it a step further

There aren't any lightning effects and plants don't move at all in the wind.

There aren't even any effects like fog or other stuffs that adds motion to the environment. It looks like you are moving through a 3D painting.

The current XV build might look awful but PS4 Witcher isn't anywhere near as good as this PC shot. The rest of the game doesn't even look as good as this non playable backdrop, is several time worse in the open world.

FFXV literally looks like a counter strike map. It looks like a bunch of guys and a handful animals are placed on a completely static environment.

It's not the hd textures that make witcher look better it's the light engine, the wind and particle effects.

Xenoblade X looks like shit compared to Xenoblade but it still looks better than XV.

I sorta commend Square for doing this since day one patches have always pissed me off, but I won't hold my breath that the gane still won't have problems and neither will I anticipate the game to be anything short of just okay.
In fact from what I've seen and heard from the game, I'm just trying my best to keep a neutral opinion and make my own stance in the game when it comes out to judge it fairly.

It's literally not. You can go back to Kaer Mohren and explore 100% of the area around the castle. This includes a lake, sprawling cave system, mountains, and forest.

I'm not sure what your point is, it's not like the game is cheating or something to make it look good, it's in game.
