This war of mine
Deus Ex, System Shock 2, Morrowind, Cawadooty 2, vanilla WoW is also good but any private server for it isn't that great
it's better to just hit the bottle OP
it's what I learned after wasting hundreds of dollars on games
I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream
civ
No man's sky
This game is actually really comfy and never fails to make me feel good.
fuck the Sup Forums meme.
learn dwarf fortress by watching some follow-along tutorials.
Red Orchestra 2
>are so engaging that you forget about shit?
play ff14, roll catgirl and find a waifu
yeah you're probably both guys and it'll be gay as fuck, but who cares if it makes you happy for a little while?
I can't get past the 8bit graphics though
thanks but I don't need help becoming more depressed. Just time will do it since I literally have not a single person in my life.
thanks user.
I did that when I was young (14 or so) but it just led to things becoming worse
yes, this is one I actually play
this one too, though I wish I could do more than just become space miner/merchant
been meaning to do that
got it already but no it doesn't help in that way
>ff14
too poor to afford subscription
For me, any city builder helps me forget stuff, so Anno (1404/2070),Pharaoh, Banished or Cities: Skyline. STALKER or total war games also help.
Civilization, or any other 4x game, never fails to grab me by the cock and refuse to let go.
Way of the Samurai 4
trails in the sky
katawa shoujo
>Myst series
I know this feel user. I remember when I was younger I made online friends to fill the void, but now my anxiety is so high I don't even use voice chat. Kill me.
System Shock 2 is pretty spooky though, in my opinion it is the perfect survival horror game.
You could also play vidya with me
no man's sky
>too poor to afford subscription
play the free trial
and if you do find a waifu, he's probably desperate enough to buy you the game and sub (and be you're sugardaddy if you can live with that).
Also an awesome platformer
I love Ankama
God I wish I could replay KS for the first time again. I really should delve into other VNs one of these days since it's the only one I've tried and I loved it.
we can be friends user (and never talk to each other on steam because we're too retarded)
stardew valley
Holy shit this this this. This game is the best game to drown your sorrows in. This game will consume you for a good week. It will grab you by the balls and make you cry. It is probably the comfiest game I have ever played. Once you look past the concept it becomes something much more.
Same, KS is a fucking experience. I still replay it every few months. I've done every route, yes, but they don't get any worse. I tried Clannad, simply didn't get into it as much.
That response is too real, user.
Max Payne series
I like spooky
>>You could also play vidya with me
what do you play? do I have to voice chat? because I'm way too depressed to talk to anyone.
>tfw I literally wake up crying, my pillow all wet
and I don't mean I wake up and start crying, I mean I'm crying in my sleep, which wakes me up
I'm confused, I play as a catgirl and find a waifu? female + female?
Borderlands 2
Just go in,shoot and kill everything.
Very relaxing
I play MMOs, FPS, RPG, RTS for the most part. You don't have to, text is fine. I'll mostly play whatever as long as my potato can run it. steamcommunity.com/id/muatra
I've been in and out of extreme depression since my girlfriend of five years left.
Best things that helped was getting a job where you don't have free time and doing speed, mostly adderall.
As far as games pretty much Civ 5 or XCOM. Over the summer I got pretty into Overwatch but that'll depend on if you like shooters like that
Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing
D44m is a good stress reliever. Just go to a level with a beserk power up and use that one rune that lets you execute dudes from a distance and just fucking wesker your way around the room ripping fuckers in half.
Grand strategy games are also somewhat relaxing to me for some reason. Just pop a podcast on in the background and slowly blob your nation across the world.
yes, the real desperate degenerates (i.e. people like you [and me]) all play catgirls and engage in /u/ relationships.
but it helps for you to pretend to be the sub, so people shower with gifts.
Subnautica
The static that speaks my name
Is not a videogame but the movie "Johnny got his gun" make me feel... diferent before I see.
Spoiler, is a tragic movie and it starts very bad, besides that the movie make me feel I can do a lot of things
undertale
>Johnny got his gun
thanks, OP here. I'll give it a try. I usually watch the big lebowski. must have seen a hundred times.
Depression Quest
That Dragon, Cancer
Hey op, I was feeling the same for about 2 years.
I've been happy lately and nothing in my life has changed. Wanna know how ? Go to your local doctors office and get some meds. Shit actually works.
sm0ke sum of dat dank kushhhhhh...
You'd probably want something with little down time. Maybe take a look at FC3: Blood Dragon, Civ V or possibly even a telltale game
>I'm depressed as fuck.
as is everyone who spends their time on this board. fuck off with your special snowflake mentality and embrace the life with anons like yourself.
TF2
Destroying n00bs and enraging tryhards is so satisfying.
Fallout 4
user be nice we all have our moments.
>covering up your problem with drugs
enjoy being dependent on them
I'm not sure on the PC side of things, but rhythm games with positive and goofy stories cheered me up after having my heart ripped to shreds. Music in general helped me a lot honestly.
Maybe emulation? Parapppa, Um Jammer Lammy and Gitaroo Man (PS2/PSP) are my three favorites.
Better than being some depressed faggot who cries on Sup Forums all day
System Shock with mouse control mod. You will have a fun as hell time, and the ending will leave you with a smile on your face.
I used to have this guy who was absolutely infatuated with me and bought me tons of shit. He made me the absolute center of his life (even though he knows I'm a guy). I started feeling terribly guilty after a while and broke contact with him. So I don't really recommend this, you're gonna feel like shit in the long run and hate yourself even more.
thanks, Civ V, and Telltale games do actually work (at least have worked in the past)
thanks
Grow Up is a pretty happy and easy game
Seconding
Emergence by ShindoL.
Garry's Mod, Team Fortress 2, Counter Strike Globally Offended, League of Legends, Dead by Daylight, Half Life 1 - 2 Ep 2, Resident Evil Remastered, Bioshock Series
PC only? For me the answer is DEFINITELY Morrowind. You can roleplay whatever you want and don't have to be an asshole to anyone if you don't want to. Wander the countryside picking herbs and live in a little hut or a cave. Gather clothing and make a wardrobe of your favorite stuff. Tame scamps to be your servants/friends.
I know you said PC only, but if you want a game about friendships and bonding I will absolutely vote for Persona 4 Golden. The music is also insanely comfortable (most tracks - some are sad/melancholy). It will make you feel like you have true friends.
Cheer up, my friend. Do you have Monster Hunter Generations? I'll go on some hunts with you, whatever monster you want.
OP here, the only reason I still have my vita is P4G.
>Cheer up, my friend. Do you have Monster Hunter Generations? I'll go on some hunts with you, whatever monster you want.
thanks, but sadly no, I don't have a 3DS
metal gear rising: revengeance
