Very melancholic, Blizzard may be pure assbutt as a company now, but they still have great cinematic storytelling skill.

I don't understand why people like it so much besides it looking good. A robot wakes up and a bird builds a nest on his shoulder, that's pretty much it other than the flashback

I liked how it finally ties Bastion into the rest of the cast, before he was pretty much a loner with no relations. Now he has the former-enemy of Reinhardt going on, I wonder if Rein hates him for being part of the army responsible for the death of his mentor. It also means Eichenwalde isn't just Rein's map, it's also Bastion's map.

overwatch is blizzards PR game, I wouldn't be surprised if they tried some sort of middle ground. Like you can spend coins to get specific crates that let you open 4 seasonals or what have you.

The best movie is one that has no actual dialogue and probably minimal writing from Chris "corruption" Metzen. Same with the WoW original trailer or wotlk trailer, Blizzard excels at making cinematics but too many times its bogged down by shitty writing and hammy voice acting.
