Reminder the only reason why any of this happened is not because it was the logical narrative but Zestiria exists. Eleanor has no real hang up with the previous game and gets the best end out of everyone.

It is a good game, and looks even better when compared to Zestiria, so the reception might be better just by people being surprised at how not Zestiria the game is.

The main theme is basically that being good sucks ass and humans suck but can still work together to do good things.
