Yes. PS4 is a port of the Vita version, which was capped at 30 to begin with. At least on the Vita it works out somehow with no drops. My guess it so that they could keep it crossplay.

Damn, didn't expect monsters that have unique stuff like that going on. I played GE1 for fucking months and found most monsters pretty boring if it comes to their behavior. Hope there more stuff like that that gives the monsters a bit more personality, because thats one of the reason why GE feels kinda dull compared to MH. Sorry for bringing it up. 2 has some pretty cool ones, like one that acts like a spawner and can spawn additional Aragami, as well as mark an ally and have all other Aragami target them, or one that enrages enemy Aragami near it but gives you level 3 burst. Or these fuckers.
God damn, Im sure I will have a great time with this game, but I really don't want to spend (and dont have) 70 fucking euros for the PS4 version. Im one of the people who love their Vita, but as nice as the Vita is, its not a device I want to use for hour long sessions. PC is out of question because Im pretty sure online will be mostly dead in 2 or 3 months. Im almost certain that it will be active for much longer on PSN.

A hunting game on PC just doesn't feel right even if I play it with my ds4 and while I do greatly prefer 60 fps, it's not a complete deal breaker for me. Besides, I'd rather have a locked, stable 30 fps than a 60 fps that dips to 55 occasionally. It's too jarring when I see frames get dropped and apparently getting a solid 60 requires you to sacrifice your first born no matter how strong your pc is. I'll just play it on console

My PC plays games at 96 fps with no dips below this frame rate. Not only that, but I play Monster Hunter on my PC at 60 fps with no dips ever, and it "feels" fine. Just like playing it on a PS3.

It's still made because of the PC port's "success". They literally took the port's money and used it to make another game for the God that is the PlayStation. The Japanese video game industry operates exclusively on the trickle down theory; the top cup is the PlayStation, and all the others are the other, lesser platforms. Sure PC might get a port, but the PS still has a full cup of exclusives.

PS4/Vita is Crossplay and got Resurrection back in June so most people are ready to move onto 2 while PC is its own community and will be getting both games on the same day which will split the PC community between two games.
I will probably get the Vita version. For mediocre monhun clone like this, best played while lying on the bed.

PC versions of all games grossly undersell the console versions. As a result, there are fewer people playing games on PC than on console. And in many cases, the PC version is dead while the console versions are alive, like Battlefront, Evolve (pre-F2P), and yes, even Battleborn.
It comes with the first game with improvements from the second. So its up to you really.
Different story and old characters from 1 coming to 2, plus your prota from 1 gets mentioned.
Resurrection has most of 2's QoL changes/improvements and systems, even 2's weapons. RB however has Blood Arts and is still overall better than Resurrection.
RB is a direct sequel to Resurrection though so you might want to play that first if you haven't already.

Ironically enough, i still playing RE6 online and other games, if the game is fun it will have a stable community, not a big one but stable.
Mustards are more worried about muh graphics and fps, so most just mess around until they get the game to run at 4k (downscaled from 16k) @120fps and drop it after that.
