According to reviews it literally won't run on my system because my games aren't installed on C drive. Also because GFWL. Otherwise I would have bought it yesterday.

If fighting monsters in zoned areas is monhun then so is Phantasy Star Online, and neither monhun nor PSU give you bitching power armor

I actually always wanted to play Lost Planet, but I hate Monster Hunter with a passion. Thanks for letting me know I should forget about this series.

I was under the impression that Lost Planet 2 was like Lost Planet, in that it was a linear single-player game that's pretty much like Gears of War and every other cookie-cutter TPS out there. Do you actually have quests and shit in this one? How does it play like monhun?

I played LP2 a long time ago on 360, but I recall it having lots of giant monster fights.

It's just not worth the effort when I beat this game many times over when GFWL was still around

It doesn't, OP is a retard. The only similarity to MonHun is that there are big monsters to kill.
Unlike the first game LP2 is more focused on co-op, but it's a lot better than the first if you have people to play it with.

Whenever someone mentions a game is similar to Monster Hunter, it usually means it has an extremely slow and boring combat, with a fuckload of grinding crap, shit consumables, and every other terrible MH mechanic. I know from experience while playing a lot of so called 'MH clones' on the Vita.

Lost Planet EC has no GFWL, but lacks features that Colonies has. Then again, GFWL is on colonies.
If you bought the previous Dead Rising games, the bundle will discount buying DR1.
DMC4 and REmake are good.

I played the shit out of that game.
I've unlocked 100% items, weapons, and outfits TWICE because my PS3 memory got wiped.
Almost did it a third time on the PC version but I didn't have the time.

Honestly that train level is worth $4 alone.

It has none of those, it's morons having nothing to compare it with.
The only consumables are pick up weapons.
Health is just gathering T-Energy and then pressing the Harmonize button if you need to refill health.
It has a grappling hook button and there are actual levels.

Play the third game, if you like an okay
single player narrative you'll probably enjoy it a lot.

Why wasn't this game popular?

I played the first one a bit, got to the section with the snow worm that can insta-kill you. Died like 3 times, quit, tried number 2. It's almost entirely about fighting soldiers with the akrid only showing up occasionally, usually as giant cinematic things you have to fight in specific ways.

It's really weird how different it is.
