Senran Kagura Thread

>city

She ain't THAT good.

She's also a massive dork and is my wife.

When are we going to get a new game, anyway? And with how much more popular the Versus games have been, will we ever see another mainline game again? I'd really like to see a SK3 on more than just the 3DS. And more stuff with yoma in general.

Have you known your wife was a slut?

This is a REAL wife

Sk3 when?

>machine guns, grenade launchers and cannons
>skilled shinobi
Then again SK has a very loose definition of shinobi.

"Modern Day Shinobi"

As a reminder, I am still looking for more bugs to tell Xseed games to fix

if you have one, post it

Post your top 5 senrans

Katsuragi
Hikage
Shiki
Haruka
Ikaruga

...

This is an elite squad of deadly, evil shinobi.

>Nips bitch about SK2 having more difficult and lacking about lacking Versus characters.
>But utter ignore all the issues with both games.

I'm now 100% sure that otaku is utter retarded and don't give a shit long as their waifu is in.

Truly only the strongest hero can stop them

but who is the strongest hero?

Is Mirai the senran most likely to be portrayed with a giant futa cock in fanart?

no

the bear

How the Versus games compare to other Musou games in terms of gameplay? I know they are linear instead of open fields and don't have bases to capture, but how does the combat mechanics, combat speed, number of moves, etc compare?

...

Pretty slow, mainline series are more a proper beat em up.

Its a matter of taste.

I like EV. Its tough at first but eventually you get to understand how to get good,

Online mode is nice as well.

Combat feels exactly as it should. Feels good feels fun.

...

Homura is in the right. No question about it

SK3 when? I don't like musou.

I hope you enjoy Yumi odd adventure till forever user.

SK2 was too hard for nips.

You can only pick 1

>wanting the neet
i can appreciate your taste but i need some aggression in it

But we'll at least get a 2D fighting game someday, right?

next year

I pick Murasaki.

I wonder if they going keep the mainline series on nintendo consoles or move to vita or something.

3ds is on last legs but I'm not going buy a fucking vita.

I would let Naraku put my hand in her sweater pocket

>How the Versus games compare to other Musou games in terms of gameplay?
Stages are shorter, which would be good for some quicker bite-sized stages if the Vita versions didn't have shit loading times and a hidden way to bypass all the mandatory extra loading for cutscenes. (It's press triangle to select the stage.) SV on Steam or EV on PS4 might be better, but it's hard to say.

Enemy variety is far better than Musou. Musou generally just has grunt troops and archers, with the occasional one using a shield for temporary super armor. Senran has standard sword fighters, mole-diggers to attack from underground, turtle-shell fighters with long range guns, kite ninjas in the air, some that jump and dive at you, bear fighters with large super armor, and more. And that's just the Versus games; SK:Burst and SK2 have a lot more variety in yoma, although they aren't the Versus style.

Enemy bosses are the other characters, and so have a much wider moveset and variety than most Musou casts.

Combat is fairly decent. Characters have the straightforward XXXXX combo. Most have the ability to hold X for a second hit, or hit Y to do a launcher. You can followup a launcher to continue to air combo victims, although rival bosses have an attack which immediately breaks them out of a combo (in exchange for some HP, and you have the same). The camera for following this is fairly shit, but the game does a good job of tracking your target so you can typically continue to combo enemies even if the camera refuses to move through a wall so you can see what's going on.

(cont.)

Supers have a different use in Versus than in Musou. In Musou, you can use them pretty much anytime you are still on the ground, so they're a great emergency "counter" when something starts hitting you. In Senran Versus, you can only use a super when standing on the ground and unattacked. They're used more aggressively for crowd control, but can't be used on defense. Also, you tend to recover them quicker than in a Musou, so you'll use them more frequently.

Also, all Senran Kagura games have a strange difficulty curve. Easy is piss easy (of course). Normal starts out okay for beginning players but will be piss easy by the end of the game just by normal levels gained. Hard starts out with everyone having effectively super armor and ends too hard if you just play it straight through, but Hard is too easy if you replay it from the beginning after completing the game on Normal... and all difficulties are a joke when at Lv.50 maxed out.

Overall, I don't generally recommend Senran Kagura anyways. But the system itself isn't bad and smashing up a variety of enemies in a quick bout in Senran is sometimes more amusing than chopping through a bunch of dumb grunts to occasionally headhunt in Musou. I just wish Senran was better than it currently is, because it's a bit disappointing in the current games we have.

This a super powerful nigh-omnipotent mech that has an eternal battle against lovecraftian horrors.

But it doesnt have tits so its fucking worthless

>All that good monster design on Mainline series wasted because Muh versus is better.

>implying there isn't a titty ninja demonbane

This whole game is nothing but filler

That deadly mercenary is also my wife.

>combat arsenal includes both a satellite cannon with a giant laser and an attack aircraft with machine guns, missiles, and bombs
>couldn't destroy a city

Maybe because versus is a spin off series that takes the fanservice up to eleven?

...

Why are Senrans so dishonorable?

From my experience, yes.

>This is a skilled Shinobi that can wipe out an entire city with ease
Elaborate.

The cool one.

Yumi of course. She is the best.

Go away Japan.

remove gray hair

Thanks for the replies
The way user here describes it makes the Versus games sound pretty decent, especially to how everyone says they are really bad Musous.
They seem to be pretty fast and have nice animations at least.

Takaki say he got surprise in september

No.
