Enderal

So, how good did this turn out to be?

I stopped because it doesnt have fast-travel or you only get it later
It was just skyrim on another map and with a stupid skill system

It's pretty good. It's Skyrim with better writing, for better and for worse.

There are tons of fast travel myrad towers around the map, you can fly to them even if you haven't discovered them.

is this all in one deal, like does it have all the textures and enb all in one package that i can install over a base vanilla install?

nope its just the content

It has some mods built in, like SkyUI. No ENB, though. Its own textures aren't that bad, and there's some sort of lighting overhaul in it.

so all i need is enb then?
i guess what im getting at is does this use vanilla assets and does it need me to install all the texture packs and shit for it to look good?

>Are these wares for sale
>No, I just put them out for you to look at
Is annoying
>Have a quest in undercity, to get key from some merchants sister
>She starts brawl
>Lose to her on purpose, because why not
>She acts like I beat her and opens next stage of the quest
there is more
>Donkeys 10 times as big as in real life
>Cant fug a single prostitute
>Literally no friendly NPCs outside the towns, even in towns there are almost no unique dialogues
>Devs are fedora tippers and they refuse to shut up about it
It has its own shitty ENB, there is some awful aura around actors

Still a decent game desu

english when?

It uses both vanilla and its own assets. Looks good out of the box if you ask me.

>Battle theme looping forever
Tried deleting the song from the BSA but then I get no music at all, gg no re.

Teleport to the skill menu, it stops it for me.
Had that problem in Skyrim too, I think it's not battle music, just annoying overworld music.

Anyone find any of the myths and legends? Ive only found the miner and the werewolf, which gave a strong ass one handed axe and a generic battleaxe respectively

>That quest with the cultists on the island

Spooky

How the fuck do I get in there short of TCL'ing my way in?

There is no enb on it fucktard. The glowing aura is because of the vanilla light engine skyrim has.

I've found the ash widow, but not her hand.

No climax though. Just "oh well guess they're all dead time to port to ark lel"

>thought i was hotshit
>boneripper on the beach fucks me sideways
>come back like two more times and still not able to comfortably beat one boneripper without chugging like five potions
>finally ablle to slap it around
>it was the only one of its kind on the island
>rest of them are just shitty nerfed versions i can oneshot

Im still upset. Also what said, was awkward as fuck

Pretty much. You should still download armor and weapon retex of your choise for the armors that use vanilla textures. Some of the custom armors have shit textures like the masked steel helmet.

You have to steal it from the museum in ark

Bonerippers were nothing compared to that one spider queen waiting for you in one of the huts. I could deal with them but that thing two-shot me really fast.

does it come with a cool base/house to store/display all your stuff

yeah

Fucking Lishara and her fucking babling mouth shiting on the religion, and fucking worst of all i cannot tell her to SHUT HER WHORE MOUTH, because that not and option. I have to be her rambling bag.

those werent bonerippers famalam, they were boneslashers or whatever shittier versions. That spider spooked my guts off though

It has at least two buyable houses that I found so far. I haven't been inside them though

Agree somewhat but I'm not sure how they could have added combat to the last room without ruining the atmosphere. A final letter or something would have been nice.

That dream sequence when you go through that trial for the order tho..

>tfw pentaghast fucking dies

Her VA is SO grating

Castle Goldenford is comfy as fuck. The basement too.

>gets triggered by videogame npc
is this autism?

>museum heist
YES

Telekinesis?

>just swinging my weapon at the walls seeing if that breaks it
>accidentally hit the dude
>so you finally figured it out..
>Y-Yeah

Tried it, doesn't work. I've found kraut threads about this room and none of them had any real solution.

Pretty good imo.

>Main story has characters that are actually interesting
>generally characters being more interesting
>followers that aren't annoying as fuck and have more interactivity than just being your packmule
>combat is more challenging than Skyrim
>RPG-leveling and skill system, you don't get better by just playing the game like in Skyrim (have to buy books etc.)
>towns are actual towns
>NPCs notice your race and sex and will act accordingly
>decent story
>great dungeons, every dungeon is unique
>loot is hand-placed, enemies don't scale with you
Just some stuff off the top of my head

I'm having a disgusting amount of fun with it, it's like someone made Skyrim but not completely awful, and with a story that's actually vaguely interesting.

Couldn't get into Nehrim at all thanks to the shitty German voices, maybe I'll go back to it after this.

male VA's sound great, but some have shitty mics, swearing sounds forced. Females sound universally bad with forced acting seeping through the shitty mics. Kid VA's make me want to install killable children.

>bank has a locked door you can pick in the lobby
>cant walk through it after opening, invisible wall
>tcl-ing through the invisible wall crashes the game

Devs just fucked up then. TCL that shi.

How can you be this dumb?

Honestly, the first thing I tried was to kill him, but he was essential until the very end.

No i am triggered by the lack of options, it's like there do not exist people who think differently from the creators, so they just make it mandatory to agree.

Someone not agreing with me is OK, me not having option to disagree with someone is the PROBLEM.

Has anyone gotten any of the advanced classes to trigger? I'm level 20 with 10 points each in Vandal and Thaumaturge and I haven't gotten anything. Does it have to be 10 separate skill nodes with no 2x/3x points invested in the same skill or something? That's the only thing I can think of.

HEY DO YOU WANNA KNOW A SECRET

Gtx650
4gb ram
2nd gen i5
Can my toaster run it

Yeah, it's a weird bug. If you jump in, you'll get over the weird invisible knee-high wall.

There's nothing really worth grabbing in there aside from a couple of jewels anyway.

idk lol

MMMMMMYDAME?

Anyone gotten custom meshes for player character to work. I want my ebony amazoness back.

>Subtle Islam criticism

It's criticizing religious extremism in general. In a post 9/11 world and a post Paris-and-Nice Europe Islam is just what religious extremism is mostly associated with.

Criticizing it directly would be silly for a game set in a different world with different religions.

Maybe if you tweak grass density and some other values but don't get your hopes up.

Calia is OK

Agree that the green mage bitch is the worst main character voice actor in the game

Jespar, Tealor and Constantine make up for it by being god tier though

From what I understand and what Trainwiz has said, good amateur female VAs for mods and stuff are REALLY hard to find.

You do realise that the light-born aren't gods, right? It's explained to you in the fucking intro, you dumb cunt. Playing someone who somehow believes in them after that, when you already know they're dead anyway, is just the height of idiocy.

>little girls sounding like 14 year old boys.
It's hart to listen sometimes.

These people never played Nehrim.
Malphas' personal bow was really nice in that.

Meh.

>yfw seeing Ark for the first time

>bound weapons are twice as effective as level appropriate gear

Magic in general is pretty OP.
Entropy is pretty much babby-mode

Probably because they all know someone will install loverslab and rape the shit out of their character in 5 seconds flat. Even death can't save you from being resurrected and used as furniture in my house.

You have to invest in a magic tree to use them effectively, they're temporary and they cost mana to cast

That's like me complaining because the armor buff my guy can cast gives 4x the armor of his actual armor. I had to invest in a lot of skill nodes and learning books to get it that high.

>summon ancestral skeleton
>win

It's that easy.

More that there's not that many good amateur VAs in general, but more guys probably apply.

Anyone posting stuff like this is hilarious because it shows they never got further into the game, where suddenly an army of asshole atheists starts doing all sorts of fucked up shit. The point of the game is not anti-religious, it's more of a lame THE TRUTH IS IN THE MIDDLE kind of a point.

Lishari dies thanks god, and you don't have to listen to her anymore.

Also, the worst is that fucking retarded voice of young boy.

Theres a lot of nice scenery in this game

Haha, no. Even completely unupgraded with zero points in mana youll regenerate the mana needed to cast it again in the two minutes you have to use it and without the 4 memory points to boost bound weapon damage theyre STILL better just not absurdly stronger

butthurt muhammad over here. Did not notice anything like this.

Really interesting mod, world design is great and it's actually worth exploring. I think that's what I'll do tomorrow, I've only put like 5 or 6 hours into it so far.

Best experience I had was walking into an abandoned farmhouse and seeing the silhouette of a vatyr, a creature I hadn't seen yet. Got chased out and Jespar and I beat it down. It scared the shit out of me because I thought it was some kind of demon, and the lighting in the farmhouse was just generally creepy.

Cool mod, worth playing a lot more than Skyrim was.

This. It's also the main reason for the perceived anti-religious themes, which are actually anti-zealotry. Religion in this setting is literally based on a bunch of mega-mages deciding they had to rule over humans and decide what's best for them, and anyone who disagreed was vaporized. You as the main character already know that the lightborn weren't real gods because literally everyone in the entire world except for those living in Enderal knew, because Enderal is a theocracy and relies on its people believing.

I didn't even finish Nehrim or play through long enough to know about that, or at the very least didn't pay enough attention.

About how far in do the atheists show up? I've just met them, and I'm wondering how much longer the main story is.

In Nehrim you literally kill Fate and destroy the concept of prophecy.

Is sneaking without bows generally useless? I was trying to play an assassin type of character with one-handed weapons and sneaking, but sneaking seems to be useless as fuck.

I have 60 points in it by now, wearing all light armor, have all the related perks, half of my gear enhances sneak, and yet most enemies easily detect me with their fucking backs, even in darkness.

I mean, I can take anyone in regular combat, but it's not nearly as cool as quietly taking everyone down.

Same here that abandoned farm with the first vatyr did me a big frighten

At first I thought my character was having a vision of some goat demon or something but then it rushed my ass

Why would you ever try and sneak without bows? Stealth in this game is beyond broken.

Bows are shit. If you want to use them youd to use the summoned bow.

The main story doesn't even start until you join the keepers

I think noise makes it almost impossible to sneak up on people in melee range, but you get the stealth bonus when you crouch and shoot someone with a bow so you can pretty much one-shot anything.

Not that much longer. You might be a little more than halfway through, I think.
Elemental wolf > skelebro > elementals > shit >>>>> those undead abomination shits

someoneneeds to fix the maps LOD already.

I'm having fun just exploring. The dungeons can get pretty big, and the environments look really great. Also, starting out before finding any gear was the hardest part of the game, reminded me of Gothic somehow.

M'SIR

Are there more armor sets besides the first three?

The sinistrope tree is just straight unfair. Super powered mind control for 0(zero) mana? Oh man. The infinite sustain aint bad either

If you havent already you should do the under city dungeons. At least the one in the corpse pits.

How do you finish off The Blind Miner?

Theres tiers for every level uh, tier. So youve got the three items sets for 1-15 then three new ones for 15-30 and then three new ones for 30-40. Currently 40+ right now and theres a new tier of items but theyre barely an upgrade and im currently using two pieces of each set because the first tier bonus for each is raw damage

I've been to old waterworks, and then the dungeon that's just after Blind Miner. I ran into a dead end in the latter, though I found some weird password scroll in there.

Do i need a fresh install to play this? (no unofficial patch or anything else)

>doing a duelist playthrough
>have had two swords in my playtime of more than 12 hours (currently STEEL sword before that iron sword)
>find a new spellbook every 2,5 seconds

Fuck this shit, it's fun but there are too few weapons

The book says the apothecaries have the key, go to their building in the undercity. Its behind an expert door. Hope you didnt sell your flawless gems.

does this shit get less lame after a while? I played for about an hour and there were a billion fucking cut scenes and inescapable conversations. Also no ways to heal and fucking terrible regen on mana and health. It's like they went backwards 20 years in gameplay

Just level up a little, and enemies will start having rune and silver steel as their weapons.

If you want an upgrade and are level 15~ or so head to the corpse pits in the undercity. Its not too hard and some of the skeletons have rune swords

Heres your (you)

That dungeon doesnt have a dead end, just chains that blend in perfectly with the walls because the devs are assholes

Yeah, the intro is like that, you finally get set free after the first convo with Jespar.

Healing is easy Using healing spells and potions gives you radiation poisoning, but there's not much reason to use those outside of emergencies once you discover how cooked food works(gives you a lasting health regen outside of combat).

>play it
>cool intro
>prothean beacon vision ripoff
>uh okay
>railroaded for 45 minutes
>characters who've just told me about their entire life story get killed in 2 seconds
>finally get to free roam
>rock smooth buttery solid 25 eff pee ess on a 970
>uninstall.exe

Don't bullshit me user, I have a 760 and I get 60 FPS with rare drops to 30-40 in bad areas with everything maxed out and 4x MSAA.

Go to enderal.com

Download the zip file and download the launcher

Not sure if you have to, but I put the zip file in my skyrim folder.

Run the enderal launcher, select where you put the zip file, and install

Play in Fullscreen and Vsync on, I was getting shit frames on a 970 until I did that, weird as fuck.
