What weapon will you be using?

What weapon will you be using?

none because it's never fucking coming apparently

ginger cunt said that they want some form of release in 2016, probably early access

the one that can bypass blocks

Polearms and bows, like always. I fucking loved my nagamaki and yumi character in Gekokujo.

can i fucking dual wield in this game now

A stick, with a blade attached.

I hope not because it's fucking retarded

Oh yeah? where's pre order on steam then? it isn't coming in a long while.

Fucking Guild 3 was supposed to come out in few months but was moved to first quarter of 17. Won't surprise me if Butterlords will do the same.

Is there going to be a Sarranid equivalent

>style used by 2 of the best weapon duelists in history
>retarded

Ok

Kirito and who else?

Game is not about dueling

Musashi didn't dual wield weapons.
It was a sword and a scabbard for defense you moron.

Prolly sword and board and a halberd for mounted combat

Halbert of course

Actually it was a sword and a shorter sword, fucktard

It's not about cleaving through ten men at a time like guts either

Polearm all the way. Ranged I'll probably go Crossbow. I'd like to try using a bow, but it's never clicked with me.

>they want some form of release in 2016

They STILL don't have a concrete release date. "SOME FORM", "PROBABLY".

YOU FUCKING IDIOTS JUST FUCKING GET OFF YOUR LAZY FUCKING ASSES AND DROP A RELEASE DATE ALREADY

This post is wrong but about the weaponry butFucking weeaboo

You are correct, however, the wakazashi was used more like a parrying dagger. Nobody has ever done anime dual wielding and lasted longer than 5 minutes on the battlefield.

Meant for

Well read my post, i didnt say specifically that i wanted to wield 2 swords or anything like that, good sir

What the hell does my PE have to do with it? That was just uncalled for.

Your posts are a mess, rageboi.
Again, who else beside Kirito is a master duelist of all time?

Fuck me my API is broken ignore this chain of posts

Sorry, he's been usurped. It's all about Helck now.

I meant to be cheeky and link to another post, but im fucked rn, look up musashi miyamoto

>guild 3
mfw been playing since first guild

Who else /mace/ here?

Preferably the one from a game that isn't going to be dumbed down to accommodate a console release

>Looters

YOU BETTER NOT BE A MANHUNTAH

A glaive, if the game ever comes out.

>miyamoto
I don't know, looks pretty meek.

Duel wield is ok as long it's not the same weapon so you can attack differently with each hand.
Two of the same kind is unnecessary.

Same.
I should replay first game some other day, since I honestly don't remember much of it.

Pls, he uses a katana, all is like butter to him

>m&b
>pre-order

you really are a dumb fuck

Sabers and lances!

We hussar up in this bitch!

>literally the only thing of value Turk roaches have ever produced in the entire history of their nation
>it's never coming out

Horse + couchable lance
ALWAYS

>Straight sword and board
>Name them: Old and Faithful respectively

Stop whining about the release time, it's long indeed but I prefer waiting 1 or 2 years more and get a great and finalized game instead of an unfinished piece of crap infested with bugs

Also a sword for when dismounted and javelins for ranged.
Thats the true way of the knight.

Mace, shield, spear and something to chuck at the enemy. Or just ditch the spear and go with a bow/crossbow.

>not Lad and Mate

>I prefer waiting 1 or 2 years more

I guess you haven't been waiting for long then.

It's been over 4 years.
The game will still be a buggy piece of shit on release, just like the original Mount and Blade, Warband, With Fire And Sword and ESPECIALLY Viking Conquest.

Does this game will have denuvo?

Does this you person will have brain problems?

>duelists
=/= warfare

You're objectively wrong because there is now a mechanic for doing that exact fucking thing

If Bannerlord implemented dual wielding it should be as it was used historically: A parrying weapon that does shit all against projectiles. So basically a shit tier shield.

y-you too

If bannerlord implemented dual wielding they should make a proper brawling mechanic

Where are my soldiers rolling around in the dirt punching, biting, kicking and using whatever they can to kill someone with. Not a single video game I can think of actually has realistic battles like that.

>Duelists suddenly cant be ground soldiers

Ok kid

So you can cut through 10 men now? And horses? And shields and armor?
Yeah ok

It is with some skill and a competent weapon. This is easier to do in Vanilla too

They weren't, period.

99.9% of battles took place with soldiers using 1 weapon. With offhands being shields or nothing.

If you actually fenced, did medieval fights or picked up a history book once in your life that wasnt horrible fucking histories you would know using a weapon in each hand is absolutely fucking worthless. Even having a properly protected hand > any offhand weapon.

John the Marshal would have shit all over them.

Yes, you can cleave through enemies. Dont get salty at me you're a moron and spoke without knowing anything of M&B2.

So be edgy somewhere else xxxDrizzt69xxx.

>implying

Even lords participated in skirmishes, and dueling was a lord's game, but i digress, personally i would forgo dual wielding, but nonetheless, in a fantasy game, i think it should be an existing mechanic

You are only disallowed from attack two soldiers with one swing. Not rider + horse.

You can kill horse + rider right now in Warband with good power strike and a weapon of sufficient reach.

>dueling was a lord's game
This is fucking warfare not duelling you moron

Sounds like an easy game then

the faggot refused to say anything during the gamescom twitch session

i doubt it

Aha, missing the point already, i see, dont worry, i didnt expect much to begin with

A heavy spear or glaive.
Preferably something that allows both thrusting and sweeping, with a lot of weight behind it.
Something that when used on a horse, allows for simple pokes to completely disembowel someone, and when used on the ground, allows you to fight off multiple opponents.

A Halberd is alright too, I guess. But I generally prefer spears or glaives.

An illustration of

Motherfucking glaive

Melee is love. Melee is life. Bannerlord better have good polearms.

Alright, but what the fuck is that at the bottom right

Huge hammer to gather up those pleb slaves ofcourse

Is it viable to use no weapon and let the peasants fight? After all I don't think generals would fight much in reality.

retard

Not very fun because command options are severely limited. From the trailers this looks to be somewhat improved in the new game.

Wow am i offended

Just

Never talk to me, il find you reeeee

Pretty certain it is supposed to be a helmeted head. Suvarnabhumi Mahayuth is fun, although I needed to mod in side swings for the fucking Halberds...

I know it was more a roleplay thing

Horse Archery 4 lyf

Also lances if they're just as retarded as in warband

Wow i thought it was a leg, kicking mechanic and all that

Yes this is a viable way to play

Kettle Helmets are best Helmets.

You'd be suprised by the amount of warrior kings that existed.

they were saying that you can place units like in total war in this game but idk it's gonna improve beyond that

Is it even coming out?

>pre order
>WAAAH YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT EVERY GAMES HAS TO HAVE A PRE ORDER OR IT WILL NEVER EVER COME OUT
if anything, it'll sooner be an early access kind of thing but I doubt it. they'll probably release the game and keep patching it like before

a siege crossbow of course

Lances when mounted

Axe and shield otherwise

I also hope that a pure crossbow army will remain viable. That shit was great.

console release hasn't been confirmed
>inb4 quote from that one interview
that was a mistranslation

kosher

you can do that right now in warband. just get an army of nord infantry and rhodok sharpshooters and you're nearly unbreakable

>You can sally out and destroy the enemy's siege equipment

Goddamnit Turks. When release date ?

only turkish release

Light lance and shield on horseback

Javelins, axe and shield on foot

Objectively the best setup

Sword and dagger, as long as the dagger is used only to parry is pretty hirsotically accurate.

If they let you run in with 2 axes or maces then they've gone full retard

Spear and shield. Javelins and probably use a mace for close quarter.

>no thrusting
>constant "0 damage (-4000% speed)"

Good luck sand nigger
