I've been playing this lately. The aesthetic is nice but the textures are fairly shit. I do like it though, it sounds like they had plans to make it more open world with maybe some RPG elements. I would've liked to have seen that, but for now I'll settle for kicking people off the rooftops.

The gap between animated features and games is too huge. In some ways, games look better than Toy Story, but in other ways they don't. We ain't getting fur that looks that good any time soon. Not even sure if any existing computer could run a scene of Zootopia on the fly, Disney had to render it to see the final scene with all the effects.

Games are pretty much animations in real time which is why it will be decades before we can get close to something that look half as good as zootopia.

You're greatly exaggerating. Yes this is true for scenes like the nudist colony but there are whole scenes in Zootopia which my personal computer could render in a week.

Not at all. The 2d sprites look awful and some of the textures are actually really bad. It would be better if the pictures they used for texturing were at least twice higher resolution but it just looks bad.
