UT99 Infiltration mod
Quake 3 > Unreal
Unreal 2k4 > Quake 3
Counter Strike Beta
neither, they don't run on my hardware until 2004
Half-Life Multiplayer
I like that UT is a tad slower and more grounded, it has better weapons and maps, also more team based modes. Its presentation is objectively better.
Quake is for tryhard autistic savants and reflex monkeys.
>1999
>having 56k modem
>playing Q3A, HL, UT and CS with bots

Didn't have either
I did have Mechwarrior though.
UT4lyfe M80

I STEP ON YOU WITH MY MECH
FPS are so small and limited, the possibilities for mech games in the new millennium are just endless! As hardware gets more powerful we will surely see fps die off as everyone will be playing elaborate combat simulations!
Technically Mechwarrior is a FPS. So is Descent
>squad tacticts
basically a "please guys help me i can't handle anything by myself"
this, shogo is just the tip of the iceburg.. the future will be great.....
Can't wait for 2, hopefully they expand on the mech sections. Maybe they'll add more destruction?
i was playing both and this
MODS
Rogue Spear came out that year. The original Rainbow Six ran alright on my computer at the time, but Rogue Spear was my first experience with really trying to play a game on my PC that it just couldn't handle.
