No

good because that one was pretty spooky

Are there any good fun horror action games set in estates or large hotels recently? Like Undying or the hotel mission.
I didn't really like Resident Evil though, I think third person/PS1 locked camera angles ruin the sense of scale when you enter a large abandoned foyer.

You're a fucking vampire who can survive a tank blast to the face

How is that hotel supposed to be scary?

No one expected the game to have that spooky shit. That's what made it scary.

>no one expected a game about night-time-active-only blood-sucking mythological undead monstrosities with murder and conspiracy to have anything unsettling

I'm not a vmpire, I'm a human autist sitting in front of a computer trying to navigate a vampire around a haunted hotel, there's a difference
I get unnerved by spoopy apparitions and sounds. the clinic is also a bit creepy because of how empty and silent it is and because of that blood vendor faggot

>lying to poor user

w-what

Don't worry about it.

there's no more ghost shit, but that doesn't mean you won't be seeing more fucked up and unnerving things

Quimble quest was quite unsettling
is the pier murder mystery solvable right now if I just finished the hotel quest and fucked up that gallery for Jeanette?

Nope.

You gotta be able to access downtown to solve it. Also did you give the pendant to jeanette?

nope, I wanted to fuck her but didn't trust her with that shit
now that I think about it, it's good. Therese would probably fuck me up if after ruining her exhibition I told her I'd given the pendant to Jeanette

user, the ghost hotel was spooky, but the hollywood sewers will fuck you up big time.

t. Andrei

No more scary shit for the rest of the game, don't worry.

>someone is playing VtM:B for the first time
I envy you, user

The sewers aren't spooky, they're just horribly designed.

Shit gets close, but not as bad

yeah the game is quite good but one of my gripes is that a lot of the time it doesn't matter which dialogue option I'll pick, people's attitudes will be pretty much the same.
also the gameplay is clunky as FUCK, seriously.
at least I like the xp/skill system

>The sewers aren't spooky
neither is Ocean House, but if OP is scared of that, then the jumpscares and fucked up Slachtas in the sewers will get him

You have the restoration patch installed right? You're not playing the game vanilla are you? That patch is a must.

Also which clan did you pick for your first time? I hope you didn't pick Malkavian or Nosferatu.

I'm playing the Plus patch and picked the hedonist type of vampire(Toreador I think?)

>Slachtas
wut

Okay, you should be fine then. The game is literally unbeatable without the patch, it would always crash at a vital point in the story.

Toreador is pretty good for a first run.
You know that some clans have different dialogue options, right?
e.g. Ventrue get extra options if you skill up the Dominate discipline, Malkavians are fucking crazy and talk in crazy ways (with many spoilers about the story too, because they're somewhat clairvoyant), Malkavians also get extra options to choose from if you level up Dementation, and of course the Nosferatu are hideous so they get a totally different treatment by non-vamps.

Sorry, I made a typo.
They're called Szlachtas. You know, the lil' dudes in the sewers. There's also the Vozhd, the big ones with the many limbs.

yeah I read a Sup Forums-made infographic before installing the game. honestly Malkavian sounds like a lot of fun to play but I guess it's better to have more conventional first run

neat, I was wondering why they used a Polish name for them

Pier Murder you;ll kinda solve as you go along so lang as you keep doing sidequests. But no, you can't finish it yet

there is the one section that should make most players go
>ohfuckohfuckohfuck WHY WON'T YOU DIE!!!!!!!
'scary'

not necessarily. many of the chargens don't have tankiness built into the clan.

You can't survive a tank blast in the face as a vampire, specially not one as young as you are during the hotel quest.
