Smoking ads got worse over time. As a kid in 'Straya, smoking ads were straight up performing an autopsy on a corpse and looking at how fucked up and rotted all the organs were. I've never smoked in my life because of that. Then all these new ads come in turning the lungs into paper, or showing some fuckin kids coughing. Showing lung cancer victims and having them tell you not to smoke was a really good idea though.
