What is Sup Forums thoughts about warframe?

i see we both know watchthewant
i like your taste

Fun at first. Nightmare grind after a while. Played for some months until update 14 something. Then they got cocky and started insulting the playerbase at any given chance

He should do more Sangheili

I haven't played it in a few months (since release of sand guy?). At that time I was playing it regularly. Overall I approach it as a game that fills the same hole Diablo does. Just an infinite loot grinder of sorts (in this case materials and leveling your weapons/items/pets/frames), with an "End Game" consisting of gathering keys and completing a super hard mission for exclusive mods (kind of like Ubers/Tristram in diablos).

I enjoy the model, and like how even when playing F2P you can acquire premium currency by selling prime parts to players. Really adds another level to the game as it can help you out here and there.

You should check it out again. Big change to the map/planetary unlock system and Void Keys are now Void Relics and work completely differently.

Just check it out.

it has little substance and does not have much going for it other than tedious and obnoxious amounts of grind

Are you the fatfuck? Is ponyfucker still present?

i 9-forma'd a boltor prime and had maxed almost all the important mods like heavy calibur and shield/health

i had all the prime frames available when i quit

i had fun but i got bored.

Why the fuck do they keep fucking with Trinity.

*BRAAAAAAAAAAAAP*

It's fun for awhile but then you realize it's basically designed to be as grindy as possible to try and get you to spend cash. And they're just making it worse and worse (while claiming they're doing the opposite). I quit after 300 hours a month or two ago and haven't looked back.

because they don't know anything about balancing a game, just adding more power creep

>they replaced one grind with another that's pretty much just as bad if not worse

I played it for like a month..It was super boring if I remember correctly. The fighting was mainly just me running around spamming the melee button because it's hard as fuck to aim while moving in this game. I liked the concept of space ninjas, though. Oh, and the art.

It's most definitely worse, considering you now have to grind to grind to grind instead of just getting a Void key and doing a mission.

Of course the retards on the forums and plebbit ate it up because "NOW IF I SPEND HOURS UPGRADING MY RELIC AND SQUAD WITH THREE OTHER PEOPLE THAT DID THE SAME THING I HAVE A 10% CHANCE OF GETTING THE THING I WANT INSTEAD OF 5%!" Nevermind that for non-maxed relics drop rates are even LOWER than they were for Void keys, and now you get one reward per mission, full stop- no more endless Void Survival or Defense to get a whole bunch of forma and ducat fodder.

>hard as fuck to aim while moving
git gud

don't get me wrong, this game has serious problems, but that actually isn't one of them

was good in beta when you didnt have to grind your soul into powder to do even the most basic shit

skill tree > card rng shit

More like warfarm

Ember Prime is best frame.

>I liked the concept of space ninjas, though

Then you'll love the new lore!
They're not space ninjas, they're children piloting drones from pods.

Jesus, I'm just telling him to check it out.

Anyways, the new Void system may require more effort and a little more grind, but it's easier to actually get the items you want now. With a full squad, you get four choices/chances at the end of a mission to get what you want, and you can boost Relics to make the rare items more likely to drop.

When you just compare the drop chances alone, the new system is a lot better. Plus, all the Void Fissure missions are all really easy, they all take five-to-ten minutes max. No longer do you have to do forty waves of T4 Defense just for two chances of the rare item you want.

The main problem with the game is the community. They're actually mostly really nice people, but the forums are the only place the devs listen to feedback and they are filled with nothing but brownnosing cancer that believes DE can do no wrong. Say anything critical about the game and you're banned for "dev bashing"

The forums are also heinously corrupt. Moderators will close threads after posting just to have the last word. It happens all the time in threads with perfectly civil arguments.

wasn't it left ambigious whether frames are simply drones or something more?

>no more piggybacking off your friends' keys or keysharing in general
>non-squadders have a lower chance of getting what they want- poor internet or no friends/squads up in recruiting? lol get fucked, you thought you could just have some cozy void farming?
>if you already have the items you want and just need things to cash in for ducats, you're fucked
>nullifiers and bombards out the asshole even in lower leveled void fissures, unlike void missions where tier 1/2 were free of that horseshit
>farm resource to make relics higher tier instead of just going to heiracon and rolling in T3/4 keys
>credit rewards reduced across the board- just as the Fusion Core removal rolls out and credit costs for mod upgrading have multiplied by almost twice

yep. when even reddit is a better place to talk about a game than the actual forums there is a serious problem

Denial: the post

Next comes barganing

Yes, there were several theories and plenty of headcanon.

We knew that Warframes and Tenno were separate. Many bodies, the Warframes, and one spirit, the Tenno/player. I thought that Tenno were like Makuta, gaseous energy beings that inhabited the different warframes.

Worst grindfest I've ever experienced in my life.

Even Chinese and Koreans say it's too grindy

It's not quite as bad as asian MMO grind-tier, but it's approaching them

Hahaha. Nope.

Frames are vaguely autonomous drones that once their operator 'awakes' are piloted by a bullshit-sounding, bullshit-speaking pre-teen (who's actually 100000 years old, just like my japanese animes!) who says stupid shit in missions until you turn them off, and everything relating to Warframes as originals or as beings of their own is tossed into the trash.

grind to grind to grind to grind to grind to assemble to grind to assemble to assemble to combine the three assembled pieces to repeat until infinity

oh Lord, no

>tfw kill

I really only know this game because of the lewd stuff but I was interested in giving it a shot. The grind doesn't bother me but I'm more concerned with how the game actually plays. Is it fun? Is solo play viable or do you have to play with other people?

It's how every f2p Grinder should be. I really wished that the division would end up as Warframe with covershooting. A damn shame.

I dumped 300-400 hours into it, spent 40€ on plat. It's a good game.

Is Valkyr still nerfed? That was right about when I quit - sure, the frame was OP, but who gives a fuck? It's a game about doing the same shit over and over and over again. It was nice to have an option where you could just zone out. But oh no, the feedback playerbase couldn't have that - they want the missions that give you a 1% chance of something decent to be a huge fucking challenge.

Fuck that.

That was my issue with the game - either make the grind tolerable by giving you OP strats or remove the grind - DE can't have it both ways and they keep trying to do so.

No interest in playing now that coptering has been taken out.

Fun, but on par with Monster Hunter in ridiculous grinding. Gameplay is fast and always fun to just run through missions, but it still feels like it's in beta with how many obvious glitches, bugs, areas where you can get out of world, imbalanced weapons/frames, and simple conveniences that are lacking.

Worst part about it though is the lack of content. Yes, there is plenty to grind for, level up, and min/max until you can fly through missions without even focusing. But there's no end-game to it. Going back to Monster Hunter the main appeal of progressing and getting new armor/weapons is that it allows you to fight cool new monsters that all have interesting abilities and behavior. In Warframe you grind to get to higher level enemy types you've already fought before and then you can do even HIGHER level missions with the same enemies. I lasted for hundreds of hours because I love the act of grinding. But I have hit a hilariously awkward position: I have everything I want. I don't want to grind for Nekros Prime, I have all of my syndicates finished, I've done all the quests. There's no real end-game or appeal in using your overpowered items since you just do the same shit but higher level.

Add to it a heavy developer focus on adding paid cosmetic items instead of fixing basic shit or adding new tilesets/content and you've got a pretty hollow game. Lots to collect and grind for, but little reason to have it once you got it. It's still fun, especially if you just like to grind, but after a few hours of playing you've seen all there is to the game.

Porn is absolutely top tier though. I swear some of the animations and models are purposefully made with the fetishistic community in mind.

yup

forumites complained someone else was doing more damage so hysteria got smacked with the nerfbat

god dammit, this thread has brought back the rage about this game

The game is a fun shooter with fun mechanics. Worth a try.
Where content ends only grind remains though.
Luckily they add content pretty often to try and keep you interested.
Solo play is more balanced and fun than running with a full squad of rampaging overpowered glitch-abusing resource-farming strangers

Funny thing is technically it still labels itself as in beta.
My only problem with the game is how it introduces new gameplay mechanics to you that they add.
Take when they introduced the Archwings when they where first added. Most games will let you do a tutorial type quest, give you the base level item and show you how to use it.
Warframe makes you grind for each blueprint. Granted this isn't a problem for players who have played a while, however to just make it, without spending money on platinum you had to have waited essentially 2 days for the item to be fully complete.
A game you really need friends or a group just so you can pass the time.

Too bad the added """"""""content""""""""""""" requires grind

>now
it's been more than 1 year of updates. Don't you think it's time to let it go? They put in lots of stuff, coptering should not be the only thing keeping you in

the game itself measures your progress through the resources you acquire.
"Content" such as quests and starchart progression doesn't require so much grind
"i want booben prime now" requires lots of grind but it is not really content

also, buy plat

I want to impregnate Nezha!

Hate to be that user, but the female frames are pretty damn nice and could with more of that.
