I made a Rust server for anons. It's hosted on a dedicated server in Dallas. The server is finally back and fully functional (I think)! The host is incompetent so the IP got changed and all the plugins broke, but I fixed that.
Really what I'd like to see is something similar to 4craft. I think it would be fun to see various boards form their own clans/factions, form alliances and wage war on one another.
Some days it's well received, and some days it isn't. That's okay, I just bump it when it hits page 10. It's not bothering anyone.

I might hop on, how crowded is it?

We're a young server, at most we've had 25-30 people on at once.
right now it's about 12

Been a long while since I did a game of rust....

Am I able to join with an illegitimate copy? If so, which version should I acquire? Do I need to download anything besides the game itself?
Alexander Perry
Sorry, I don't think pirates are able to connect. If they can, I'm unaware of it.
Jonathan Nguyen
I believe it depends on the server. If you are not the admin, could you ask him to clarify if he has copy legitimacy checks enabled? Also, I'm in the Discord.

I like the vanilla experience but maybe I'm in the minority. Do you guys do wipes every 1-2 weeks like the official servers do? That was the one thing that annoyed me.
Juan Scott
I made it 2x as a compromise, since a bunch of people wanted 3x (and even I thought that was a bit too much).
I plan on wiping every 2 weeks to a month. It depends on how active/crowded the server gets. If it's possible, I'd like to wipe after a month.
