Ain't so bad now am I?

Ain't so bad now am I?

Literally "Brand-Deal and Movie Games" the console.

Yeah the Wii had a huge shovelware problem, worse than the PS2 did, but the trade off meant that it still got attention from competent third parties. Whereas the WiiU's only developer is Nintendo themselves.

it's the cheapest machine you can get.
like 50 bucks to play every Nintendo home console from Nes to Wii is great.
Wii's library is also very underrated

The best thing about the Wii was the Gamecube compatibility.

I miss the Gamecube so much.

>Beautiful emulation machine that I cracked but am too lazy to put the roms on it so I configure to use PC instead.

7th gen as a whole wasnt as bad as people make it out to be

Honestly only the PSP and DS were any good.
The 360 started the dudebro shooter cancer, the wii brought in the casuals and the ps3 started the movie game garbage

>The 360 started the dudebro shooter cancer
>implying it wasnt the hueg

The hueg's only major shooter was Halo, which looking back isn't as dudebro as Call of Duty was. I mean a big green space marine shooting aliens on a giant space ring sounds like a video game to me.

I always liked you.

The Galaxy games are GOAT

statistically ps2's shovelware is worse just by proxy of having 1000 more games than the wii

Well, now that dolphin is nearly perfect and I can't go back to 480p I'm about to throw away my old one. Though, I'm still keeping my gamecube for sentimental value.

exactly

dolphin at 1080p is great

60+fps

144hz

how could a fucking wii ever compare

There's a lot of underrated games on it, major problem is that I should buy some converter or such because on my TV Wii looks like ass, it looked amazing on my old bulky Trinitron

I really like Skyward Sword

Legitimate question, how do you do the motion controls on dolphin? Is there a way to use the Wiimote proper?

>144hz
>for 30/60fps games
That's pretty much useless. Go get a 4k TV/Monitor and install some 4k texture mods.

Yeah, but in comparsion the PS2 had a better good game-shovelware ratio compared to the wii.

if only had been HD. even 720p would have been fine.

>halo isnt dudebro

w e w

prove it.

I always liked you, Wii. Sure you didn't get all the games and sure you got some 1st party crap, but in the end homebrew made up for all that. Besides, you were the only console with monster hunter back then.

Like what? The PS2 had a much bigger and better library. Of course you'll find more shovelware, but finding a really good game on the PS2 was easier than finding a passable game on the Wii.

Halo in and of itself isn't dudebro but the culture that surrounded it was. Where as CoD is dudebro pandering at it's worst with tacticool lingo and normalfag military patriotism. Notice the backlash from normies against Infinite Warfare, which funnily enough has caught my interest.

for every good ps2 game there is a good wii game

Blame on third parties, they realize that crap literally printed money and they went directly for it.
This is what Ubisoft published on Wii, a couple of great games, some good or decent ones, some mediocre-but-if-you-like-the-genre and loads of shit.
First party Nintendo games on Wii were some of the best ever.

>Literally "Brand-Deal and Movie Games" the console.
Welcome to every console ever.

>Yeah the Wii had a huge shovelware problem
Every console does.

Great console because its pretty much compatible with everything.

Sorry, but that's just laughable. And that's considering that i liked the wii since launch.

Yeah, it had very awful third party support and the main control of the system in my opinion hindered it a lot for "normal" games. I don't know the obsession with them for forcing the wagglan gimmick in every game. Even the port of mario strikers had that awful wii mote minigame and that just ruined the game for me.

>First party Nintendo games on Wii were some of the best ever

I wouldn't go as far as saying that but yeah, it had some really good first party games.

PM machine

stay delusional then

Yeah man just hook a wiimote up to your pc via bluetooth, if you have a wii, you can plug your sensor bar in and turn it on for power but then put it on top of your monitor for pointer usage. or you can bind swings and motions to a controller button

fuck off dobbson

How ironic.

Is there a way to emulate Wii games without buying a wagglan stick? I just wanna replay NMH but I sold my Wii years ago.
