The original SF aged REALLY badly. SF2 doesn't need explanation. SFA was a mixed bag, with 2 being good and 3 being a mess. SF3:3S is a cult classic at worst, but it's good for what it is. SFEX was hideous. Marvel series was broken and fucked before MvC2, where it was still broken and fucked but fucking amazing. SF4, SF5, MvC3, and especially SFxTekken were all dogshit.

Alpha 2 is easily as busted as 3 is, arguably worse because it's busted in a way with much less counterplay and actual depth to it.

3 is a much better game and most of the criticisms people have for it are the result of extremely poor understandings of the game. V-Trigger is not remotely as bad as shitters who watched a youtube video and saw an impractical infinite think, and some characters like Guy and Gen are better without it anyway.

Combat in 2 and BBS were on fucking point, but the story was good in 1 and peaked in COM, so I'm debating if KH fits the mold here.

Think he means DeS sucked, DS1 was good, DS2 and onward all shit. DS2 was indeed shit IMO, but the rest of the series is fucking gold. The environments and epic bosses in DeS seal the deal, and DS1 has the most well-rounded world. Sadly, I haven't played Bloodborne. TFW no ps4.

I think he was too easy even without Biorr. He's just a warmup for False King, not really memorable for me.
I guess if we're trying to be somewhat objective, I could replace my shitty opinion on the Storm King with Penetrator

I think on it's own, it's the worst numbered game in the series, but it started up the SaGa series, and I like that series quite a bit.

Fair enough. I'd argue as far as Storm King goes though that it really only works if you're playing a melee character where the fight turns into a mad dash to dodge attacks and get to the Storm Ruler ASAP, sitting back and firing magic/arrows at it is boring as fuck. And as far as atmosphere goes Maiden Astraea and Allant's true form are better
