It's the same game but community patches added all the WWP content + mostly anything you can imagine beyond that. Support for modern systems, content mods, etc.

Vanilla WWP has more to offer than Vanilla Armageddon.
Modern Armageddon (which over a decade's worth of community updates) kicks the shit out of every Worms game. The guys even wanted to merge WA+WWP but T17 said no.

Start with very limited weapons. Two worms per team. Focus on grabbing crates, and killing enemies to get the loot of the worm you killed.

Nope, unfortunately we have not had a 3D game since the 6th gen of consoles

It all works online, but everyone needs to be running the sole version of the WA exe that PX is compatible with. It's a hassle for Steam owners of WA to get set up.
