A lot of the terror is taken out of this guy when you learn how to beat him.

if want to farm for highest tier item, you would just make a save after you lowered his hp, and then load into an area and ricochet/blast arrow his ass.

Magick Archer also makes the ur-Dragon fight end so damn fast with the seeker arrows.

I'll never forget tje day that a group of these kept fireball-stunlocking me in a corner while my pawns all ate shit dancing around getting stunlocked by another group of these.

I was already utterly fucking pissed from fighting a living armor a bit ago, but when this happened, it sent me over the edge.

Haven't gotten so physically infuriated at a video game since I was a kid. Had to uninstall that shit.

It just gets immensely unfun and tedious at high levels.

Alternatively constantly knocking him down is the surefire way to go Blast Arrows with Tenfold Bolt or MA with Richochet Hunter in a corridor makes quick work of all his HP bars.
if you intend to kill him without the Brine then your Atk/Matk stat needs to be really high to breach his defence so either carry around the seals that boost the stat you need (4 for max boost) or as an MA you can use Magick Rebalancer for the same effect.

So... is this game doing good on PC? Any chances that's doing well enough to get a sequel?

You could also do it fairly easily as a MK. Consume some periapts and then spam the hell out of great cannon.

It's Capcom's fastest selling PC game so there's that but no news of a sequel. At this point, I highly doubt it will ever happen.

for no reason other than not getting any offhand/alternate weapon they dont get access to the extra 3 skills every other class gets, god forbid you play Assassin and see how many fucking skills they get to play with because of their weapon choices.

capcom recently moved the trademark to cover the US so there's a possibility
the combat looks solid and very Dragon's Dogma it's a question of what shitty MMO features it gets that kill the game

And fuck Capcom for teasing us with what could be potential sequels with shitty MMOs. Fuck them for doing a similar thing with MonHun

There's not much of any shitty MMO features in it, or really any MMO features at all.

The worst thing is the completely optional weekly challenges you can do per area because they tend to be far too grindy for what you get, especially after they went through and redid the early game.

The Grand Mission stuff is pretty fun considering it's 12+ players are slapping shit together, but you can just treat the regular game like DD that you can summon other players instead of just pawns.

While i would probably play that i would much rather get a real sequel.

I like the gameplay far more than DA inquisition or Dark Souls and i think it tops those on many ways.
Not to mention the story could benefit from a bigger setting and whatnot.
