Overwatch is made to be an easily accessible casual game. If you're expecting any amount of competence or cognitive ability from players in a game geared towards actual retarded people and casuals, you may have brain problems.
Season 2 needs to start already. Its such a mess having all the competitive players back in quickplay.
I only used quickplay to warmup as it was, not even sure if your competitive rank affected your MMR either.

This is even a problem among the friends I play with. How hard is it to fuck throw a healing orb on the dying Junkrat?
While the easy answer is "because there's nothing but casuals" and "there's are new people every day" and that kind of junk, I feel that the real answer is our expectations for most of human race to grasp the point of something was a little too ambitious. As it turns out a majority of the people alive are actually kind of dumb and no longer desire to apply thought since it's just easier to blame others for their shortcomings.
What really bothers me is that I started off writing this to be a cheeky nigger but then I started to realized that it's probably true, take a look outside and notice how a lot of people are bad at driving and how often the guy at fault flips someone else off. These are the type of people that also play videogames and are blind to their own incompetence.

If they're a flanker then they can do some serious damage by picking off support players - delaying their push and giving time for defence to build ults.
There's also some merit to pushing forward in twos or up for the same reason if you're confident that you can fall back without being picked. Clearly the issue there is that people overestimate their ability.

I've seen more people treat this game like Call of Duty in the past few days since comp ended than I have in months. Are all the comp players actually CoD kiddies? I've been grouped up with multiple parties of 3 or 4 where everyone was at least prestiged one, but they spend the entire fucking match dicking around solo killing instead of staying on the point. How can you not realize this game is objective based after putting 100+ hours into it? It's literally mind boggling. I play Lucio quite a bit and had a Genji actually say "worst healer ever" and rage quit because I was sitting on our point trying to defend the entire match and he was fucking off doing God knows what.
Yeah, like I won't punish a team just because of one dickhead - but if he's in a stack or one or 2+ people feel like they're not getting a lapdance with their heals then I'll just treat the match as practice and switch to something else.

To be fair, Mercy is a pretty awful healer. I play support the vast majority of the time, but I was in a match where we had a Mercy already and everyone else wanted to play offense so I picked D.Va. The dumb fuck Mercy spent the majority of the match pocketing Roadhog, who gets no real benefit from the damage boost and has a free 300hp heal, instead of at least keeping me above 50% when I was constantly pressing X.

No doubt, she's a situational character until the next patch comes out. As it stands the team benefits most from her staying behind tanks and occasionally flying to other players for intermittent help. It's a balance many people lack.
I can usually get ~28-32% of team damage healed with her, but that involves basically not using damage boost unless a player gets their ult.

Support is boring as shit to play in Overwatch. Also a lot of shit players flock to standard attack charterers and bitch. I remember being the only Lucio on a team and having a Hanzo or something say "GG shit heals" at the end of a game, I just replied with "how many golds you got?" and he didn't say shit.
Like I said above, adding a scoreboard would show the team who the shit players are and take away their right to bitch. In like 90% of the CSGO games I play if a bottom fragger starts bitching the whole team usually tells him to shut the fuck up.

I'm not sure if it's important to see K/D with a game with quick respawns and a ton of different team matchups, but its sometimes infuriating not being able to see some stats to indicate who did good and who was slacking. The medal system is barely relevant in its current state.
It's the same shit with the voice lines. The only way the enemy might hear your chosen voice line is if you mash it before or right after you kill them in a death cam replay. Hell many of them in context is directed at opposing players. Can't go harming anyone's fee fees.
