vanilla is too foggy
this and atmospheric nights mod are must haves
>hurr let's remove fog that makes far away objects blend gently with the sky and insert 2000-tier sharp objects everywhere
literally no taste
been modding this game recently and I tried all the lighting mods for the game.
here is the quality chart, and it is objective.
ULM / ULM redux(prefer this 1) > asmodean > STLM
STLM is a fantastic mod but it's not consistent and you can't toggle it. It looks awful most of the time.
I sometimes play with it on, sometimes off.
It's a trade off, it's not 100% better.
I don't get performance hit with STLM, do these other ones cause performance hit?
this looks so much better, are you retarded?
it would be less. STLM does drop performance.
is this series actually good or is it just a meme?
which one is the best?
it it some gay story driven shit or does it actually have fun gameplay?
fuck off
anyone have an actual answer instead of just a triggered shitpost?
I asked the same question a couple days ago. Apparently the combat can be hit and miss depending on your tastes, but the rest of the game is pretty fantastic. I'm still downloading it at the moment, so take it with a grain of salt. I quite enjoyed Witcher 2 as well. The first one feels very clunky.
Not even that guy but you asked for it. Maybe ask a legitimate question instead of parroting what you read on Sup Forums.
if you don't like playing games for the story you won't like the witcher. narrative, characters and dialogue are it's strengths.
I would say world building is what they do best
I cant fucking tell what one is supposed to be better.
i just replayed the original and it has the smoothest combat out of the three
I'm going to give ULM a try. STLM had some clunky transitions does ULM have this issue?
I don't know I haven't played with it much but since you can change the ENV whenever you want or just turn it off, areas looking unfixably bad is no longer an issue.
STLM like I said is good for screenshots, but if you're actually playing the game it's shit tier.
The combat in 2 is pretty smooth imo. 3 would be if it wasn't for the awkward camera targeting.
Can I run this with 770 tho
Pretty sure I can't even max out so mods that require more processing power would be pointless.
You can max it out at 30fps.
