SM64DS, Chrono Trigger DS

NMH Heroes' Paradise
El Dewrito
black mesa
what chinese cartoon is this
>n-not that one!!
Fuck off
I actually agree but why do people like it tho
The Settlers 2: 10th anniversary edition.
>SM64DS
Good taste
Bionic Commando Rearmed
Diddy Kong Racing DS
Earthworm Jim HD
GoldenEye 007: Reloaded
Klonoa (For Wii)
That's not really a remake so much as an updated port.
I wish I knew
XCOM, although only with the Long War mod installed.
Patrician
Too bad settlers died after 5
Black mesa
Are the mods for XCOM 2 done by the 'Long War' team any good?
Bionic Commando Rearmed and for sure
That's a reboot, not a remake.
I really liked the genesis one as a kid, but this one looks so damn different.
I actually only really enjoyed the first two - I thought it went downhill as soon as they removed the 'follow these strict roads and flags' thing. That was a huge part of the games charm and originality.
Lechuck's Revenge.
...
Is Xenonauts a spiritual remake of XCOM?
This especially with GB sounds
>dewrito
>remaster
...
Homeworld Remastered
Black Mesa Source
And with the same reasoning, BW2
Long War is garbage
...
They are the best Mods for XCOM 2 currently, without a doubt. Install all of them - They add a ton of extra content and over 15 new types of enemies, among other things.
I also recommend the following mods:
>Gotcha. (Flank preview)
>More Maps Pack.
>Full Character Customization.
>Show Health Values.
>It's Just A Scratch.
>PanicMod - Always Hunker.
Free Camera Rotation is no longer needed as the Long War mods include it by default.
Quest for Glory 1
Quest for Glory 2
King's Quest 2
King's Quest 3
Shadowgate
Sid Meier's Pirates!
Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards
Pokémon Red
Pokémon Blue
Resident Evil
River City Ransom
Tecmo Super Bowl
Long War makes the game far more similar to the original X-COM: UFO Defense. If you prefer the new modern XCOM more, then don't get Long War. If you like the complexity of the classic however, it's a no-brainer. Personally I think it's one of the best mods ever made for ANY game, period. The only other ones that comes close is the unofficial patches for VTM: Bloodlines.
King's bounty
Yakuza Kiwami
Circle of 8's patches for Temple of Elemental Evil too.
Odin Sphere Leifthrasir
Pokemon Fire Red/Leaf Green
Kirby Super Star Ultra
Tales of Innocence R
>didn't address the shitty level curve and actually made it WORSE in some cases
>didn't address garbage Pokemon distribution aside from shoving Misdreavus, Murkrow and Larvitar into the Safari Zone
>no way to get Leafeon, Glaceon, Magnezone or Probopass whatsoever aside from trading
>battles suffered from Gen 4 slowness
>Safari Zone makes you wait up to OVER 2 MONTHS MAXIMUM before you can make some Pokemon appear after placing objects
>copypasted Battle Frontier from Platinum, basically the same as the Maison in ORAS but it's excused by everyone because MUH FRONTIER
>following Pokemon added nothing of actual use aside from flavor text, decorative items and making you wait longer during HM usage if the user is following, this coming from a fan of the feature
>rematches against leaders can only be conducted during specific days and times, on top of getting their phone numbers in completely different days and times
>Pokewalker was an overall useless gimmick that made the game even more expensive than it needed to be
>more of a nitpick, but GB Sounds isn't completely accurate in porting the GSC music due to soundfont differences
It's good, but not perfect if you remember GSC's issues.
Odin Sphere Leifthrasir
Might be the best remake I've ever played. It fixes so many things and turns the gameplay into a 2D Devil May Cry.
These aren't remakes. What the shit.
>SM64DS
Wrong, fucker.
Halo 2 Anniversary
Zero Mission.
HGSS are great but still a little dissapointing in how they didn't implement Crystal's improved encounter tables in any way or how they cut room decoration
Are you retarded
No but you clearly are.
>El Dewrito
>Sprint
>Halo 4 Weapon Balance and they refuse to fix it
>Only got The Pit like 3 months ago
Its trash user.
fuck off with that zero mission, nobody who actually played metroid and finished it was undisappointed by ZM
neptunia re;birth
Homeworld
1/10 keep being a complete retard
Emerald
Platinum
FRLG
ORAS because it's better than RS but still miles worse than Emerald
Emerald and Platinum saved Gens III and IV respectively.
Odin Sphere used improved graphical assets over the original and redid pretty much all the gameplay mechanics
I am pretty sure its Memories lads.
not disappointing tho
REmake
>Odin Sphere Leifthrasir
>Not a remake
Not fixing any of the original game's flaws in a remake when they're fairly glaring can be dissapointing
Homeworld remastered makes homeworld 1 actually playable
Great argument right there, kid.
It uses all the original assets except this time they aren't compressed for 480p. It's not built from the ground up, it's not a remake, just an enhanced version of the original.
Twin Snakes. REmake. ORAS.
...
>Diddy Kong Racing DS
>like half the original cast is missing
>shitty touch controls
Yeah but HGSS ended up being much better than DP and honestly GSC too.
>Complete overhaul of the gameplay
>Not a remake
>But muh uncompressed grafics
en.wikipedia.org
Since it's not listed here, I guess you're right.
>still doesn't understand what a remake is
Deus Ex HR Director's Cut is a nice remake by your logic, right?
DmC: Definitive Edition counts as a remake if wikipedia is to be believed.
en.wikipedia.org
it's free halo on PC
>Spiritual successors aren't remakes
>wikipedia
yeah...
Who do you trust more, anonymous Sup Forums users or wikipedia?
Or do you just choose the one which supports your argument?
THIS. Bioshock is a remake of System Shock. Everyone knows that.
Is 'BioShock: The Collection' a remake?
OP's mom is disappointing & everyone knows
I don't think you have any idea how much has changed between the original Odin Sphere and the remake. I don't know any other game that got this amount of drastic changes to his core gameplay.
Deus Ex HR Director's Cut has nowhere near the same amount of changes.
Shadow of the beast, came out this year, it's pretty great. Bonus points for having the amiga game inside of it too. Speaking of "having the game inside of it"
Castlevania dracula chronicles X, the rondo of blood remake on PSP. has the original rondo of blood, a pretty fucking good remake, and the full, closest to complete-dreamcast experience you can have version of symphony of the night.
Most of the Vita remakes
Muramasa, the Disgaea games, Odin Sphere, P4G
Almost all of them have tons of new content but don't change the basic gameplay
black mesa
>New soundtrack done by OverClocked ReMix
So good.
Except for New Little King Story.
That sucked.
BW2 were sequels, retard
I genuinely prefer replaying Crystal to HGSS. HGSS is the better game but a lot of its aesthetic changes don't sit well with me.
>there are two posts back to back with two games that equally qualify as """"remakes"""" by that one idiot user's logic
>only one of them is listed there
>y u dont trust a fan-made database in these matters?
I wonder.
It really doesn't matter. Still not a remake as you know, it's not remade, it's just the original but enhanced.
Disgaea 3/4 and Muramasa are more updated ports
They don't seem that great at porting, i hear the steam version sucks too
Halo The Master Chief Collection
This, for real. REmake is downright amazing.
While I understand your feelings, those are enhanced ports, not remakes.
>charging to get into early access for a mod that's been "out" for 4 years
Black Mesa was the first thing I played on this new computer.
By the time it's actually done I'll have built a new one.
>fan-made database
wheredoyouthinkweare.jpg
Well, the Vita port was developed by Konami.
