Also, and this is important, get a component cable. That one is extremely important if you want non-fuzzy clearer image quality.
If you can be arsed, look into getting a lag-free component-to-HDMI adapter.
Get at least 2 official memory cards, 2 more for PS1. Get a couple of controllers, cause those PS2 analog sticks don't last for too long.
