Oh, and for people concerned about the "additional shortcuts", there's been one added in the burning village. There's a water tanker you can knock down that opens up a gap between the two parts that previously could only be traversed by the rooftops.

There's no more break from flow than there is from carefully navigating through the level after a fight, and it pushes you to fight smarter during fights so anything that encourages that and deepens the systems should stay in the game in my opinion. Having actually functional durability made Nioh more unique compared to other recent games, and it fit the atmosphere and setting. If people didn't like it they could just have dealt with it or played something else rather than try to remove something unique that a lot of other people already enjoyed.
Like this rude guy sounds more like he wants to play DMC or Ninja Gaiden, not Nioh. The combat doesn't always have to be fast either and can be played patiently, and there is plenty room for character building through equipment.

You cannot run of out of breath anymore.

You can, it's just been shortened. I just got killed by the samurai just before the beach in the burning village after I got too square-happy with my new dual katanas.

No idea about how the lockon itself works but they changed the movement so that you will never face away from the enemy, even when running, so you don't have to consider the way you move anymore and can freely circlestrafe without fear of a back attack.

Goddammit. Can you still free aim your attacks or will you constantly be going towards your locked-on target?

Or rather, I blocked the last hit which winded me.

Maybe they changed it, but you definitively can't get tired just by spamming attacks.

Maybe if you block while your stamina is red.

I also couldn't recover stamina using the Low Stance Dash stuff

If that's the case then that's worrying and a change for the worse. I would have been ok if it was at least a shorter one for just swinging and a longer one for everything else, but removing it entirely means as long as you don't get hit it's all good.

Removing the Ki Pulse on the low stance dodge is really odd too, that let you move quickly but it was still balanced since you did much less damage and Ki Pulse didn't give you much back.

It really isn't. If you realised how much they changed from the Alpha, there's absolutely a lot of room for them to change more things, whether they're changed back or to something else entirely. It's only too late if everyone thinks it is.

The changes were made because of the first survey. Complain harder with the survey for this test, especially since it's unlikely as many soulsfags will bother playing this demo unlike the first. Try to convince them that they swung too far in the other direction and that they need to run it back.

Low Stance Dash Cancel allowed you for you to zoom quick and it helped all the stances.

As a Soulsborne player I found the previous beta frustratingly difficult.

Also some changes i could notice from playing around in the tutorial because its apparently still downloading shit.

When you're locked on, multiple dashes works the same between all stances.
Before in high stance you would roll, in mid stance you would dash and roll and in low stance would be dash-dash

Which is by no means a bad thing, and game design nearly always works on the basis of taking somebody else's idea and tweaking it.
