Pre-Order Deus Ex: Mankind Divided with the Season Pass

>Pre-Order Deus Ex: Mankind Divided with the Season Pass
>A third of the Season Pass is extras I won't use because they're basically cheats

>Any year in the lifetime
>pre-ordering games

Cancer cuck

>Season Pass is $30
>Announce TWO (2) Story DLCs that will most likely be sold for $15 each
>Also a slew of nonsense comparable to cheat codes or mods
The whole point of buying a season pass and pre-ordering your DLC is to get more bang for your buck
What is this garbage

The Season Pass honestly sounds identical to the shit you got by preordering Human Revolution.

>pre-order
>with season pass, no less

kill yourself

The last time a Season Pass was worth it was Bioshock Infinite, and even then it was because I was one of the few people who liked 'Clash in the Clouds'.

you should have learned from human revolution, they did the same exact thing. inb4 some shitter comes in to defend his crutch silenced sniper.

At least we know we can blame Rockstar for starting the 'Season Pass' Trend.
Human Revolution didn't have a Season Pass.
It had Pre-order DLC (which is all this Season Pass seems like) and an actual good DLC Mission (The Missing Link)

>bioshitfinite
no, fuck off, the good thing about it is the r34 liz that spawned from that pile of shit

>Pre-order DLC is the same as a Season Pass

Alright, what about Dishonored?
It's DLC was alright, and it didn't even use a Season Pass.

Season passes are such a waste of money. Never get them. If it turns out some dlc is good, buy that specific dlc when it's available and has been proven that its worth it.

Or else you get stuck with shitty useless additions but you're $40 lighter

You deserved that, who the phatetic fuck keeps preordering gaemz?

>Or else you get stuck with shitty useless additions but you're $40 lighter
Pretty much how I felt about the Fallout 4 Season Pass.

just pre-ordering already gets you an extra praxis kit and 1000 credits

Optimistically I'd look at it as putting it in the season pass so you aren't stuck with all the garbage cheats at the start just for pre-ordering, but you could also see it as a tax on idiots

I'm in the exact same boat as you, OP. Every time this shit happens (either when I buy it or when I somehow pirate the version with DLC) I have to go out of my way to check the amount of extra money and points and crystals and cards and jot it down so that I don't use anything extra.

At least with exclusive weapons, I can sometimes fuck around with them and then load back in while I'm going on a killing spree or something.

Games are easy enough as is, I'm gonna be playing this on the hardest difficulty and probably not gonna have too hard a time. Why would you make it even easier if I paid you more?

>just pre-ordering already gets you an extra praxis kit
i want to get off the ride

The season pass says it adds two more augmentations, so the praxis kits are useful for that.

Pre-ordering: 1 praxis kit
Season pass: 5 praxis kits
Playing Deus Ex Go: 6 praxis kits

Basically 12 extra praxis kits if you give more money to Square Enix.

I thought 2k started it

How the hell would you design a map for someone that might start out with 12 praxis kits worth of augs

same shit as HR but even worse back then

you could always just not use it, or spend it on something worthless

Well, there's only one hub.

That only makes me want to get all these shitty bonus Praxis Kits even less. Fucking hell, I want to EARN THEM GOD DAMN IT.

I'm not gonna use however many I get from pre-ordering and the season pass.

Sounds like Ill be waiting for the Steam Winter Sale
Its singleplayer only so it should be like 40% off

Supposedly the season pass gives you two extra augmentations, but we don't know what those are yet.
Chaff (some kind of aluminium cloud to fuck with radar?)
Micro Assembler (something related to hacking?)

Whats up with the need for hubs? Can be decent with one if its clever enough.

My point is that, because there's only one hub, you're gonna be back to it a lot. Which is how they balance for augmentations. They can have all the Metroid style shit there.

You are probably right

>Buying a Season Pass before its contents are even announced
Why.

>buy product that is well advertised
>complain that you got features you didnt want

wooooooooooooooow

>Thief II but with worse level design and less feature set in a fedora's take on Rapture

Nah, it was total trash.

>free praxis and credits
>"features"
